Having just celebrated Resurrection Sunday and acknowledging the fact that Jesus is alive and lives forevermore, let us hold fast the confession of our Hope without wavering, for He who has promised is Faithful. Now that the day is past, let's not allow the celebration of Hope to grow dim, but continue to teach those we encounter day by day as Paul was noted in Colossians 3:12-17, "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you; and over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace; and be thankful. Let the world of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom; and as you sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."
Let us not grow weary in our work of Love but rather draw strength from Him more and more as our days continue; for it is in our weakness that we are made strong through the power of Holy Spirit, who resides within each of us! And let us be mindful that we are often the only Bible some folks read so if we talk the talk, then we must walk the walk as we share the Hope in Christ Jesus to a lost and dying world. When someone offends us, we must not allow it to take root and fester, causing bitterness to separate us, but rather let's be determined to forgive quickly as God has forgiven us; while keeping His amazing Grace and unconditional Love fresh in our minds. As Solomon taught in Proverbs 4:23, we must "guard our hearts with all diligence, for out of it flows the issues of life." As we go about our day, may we always be mindful of the great sacrifice Jesus paid for our salvation and strive to live in love and peace as much as lies within our ability to do so(Romans 12:18); that we bring glory and honor to His holy name!
I pray you have a wonderfully blessed day knowing that God loves you and so do I~~~
