Freedom in Allowing Him to Liberate You in All Things

When will we fully realize that we are not God and that only He can change the impossible? Why do we keep worrying over situations we have no control over (as if we really do have control)? Why do we constantly have to remind our self that only God can work things out best, because He can see what is ahead and not just what we see before our very eyes. He alone is God and we are not! So why do we worry? Why do we allow worry to steal our joy?
Jesus said He came that we would have life and have it more abundantly(John 10:10). If we allow our minds to worry over things we cannot change, we are living beneath our means. There is a prayer I learned early in life called the Serenity Prayer which goes:
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; enjoying one moment at a time; accepting hardships as the pathway to peace, as it is, not as I would have it; trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will; that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him forever in the next. Amen!"
We pray this prayer after every Celebrate Recovery meeting that reassures our minds that it is in Christ Jesus that we are reborn, recreated, delivered and restored for His service. Celebrate Recovery is wonderful for every believer, not just those addicted to drugs, alcohol, bad habits or circumstances that arise from bad choices. Many of us have faced situations and devastating losses throughout our lives that have left us hiding behind masks that overshadow those hurts, hiding feelings of grief or anger that have left us destitute and hopeless, trying to be all things to all people instead of showing that we are hurting and dying inside; but in Christ Jesus there is liberty for all who choose to believe and receive His forgiveness and life changing freedom.
It is in Christ Jesus that we find solace with true deliverance for all time sake from every sin, from every affliction, from every hurt, from every hang-up, from every loss, from every physical abuse, from every verbal abuse, and from any thing that would otherwise keep us from living that life of abundance in Christ Jesus! Our deliverance was bought and paid for "IN FULL" by the supreme sacrifice of one man's life, JESUS Christ, Son of Our Living God.
Jesus chose to come and surrender His life of His own accord for all mankind to be delivered from sin and bondage, once and for all.  The only thing left for mankind to do is to believe and receive Him into our lives as Lord and Savior, allowing His blood to cleanse us from all our past and deliver freedom and liberty forevermore.
So why should we worry when worry gets us no where, when casting our cares upon Jesus delivers and sets us free? He doesn't want us to worry about the 'what if's, or the 'if I had of's, that seem to weigh us down with the cares of life. He wants us to fully trust in Him; in His will, His ways, and His timing. In fully trusting Him, we allow Him to perfect everything that is needed for us to have the BEST life possible, while living free from all guilt or shame. He wants us to enjoy this life He has given, one day at a time!
As you go about your day, I pray you will cast all your cares upon Him because He truly cares about every little thing you encounter moment to moment, day by day. When you finally release all your worries and allow Him to take care of your needs, you can begin to enjoy that blissful life with freedom we all seek!
Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~~~

Choices, Good or Bad, Determine Our Outcome

Well, dear friends, another day is here with fresh mercies and fresh opportunities to enjoy this life God has given. Even tho God has a perfect plan for each of our lives, the choice is totally up to us how we choose to live it. God is a god of love and will not force any of us to follow His plan for our lives, so the consequences of our choices cannot be blamed on Him, but rather on our own decisions. Just one move in either direction can bring about results for an abundance of blessings or a lifetime of disasters; and the choice is totally ours! So choosing wisely is a golden key of life.
When given the choice to choose a gift from God, Solomon chose wisdom and became more wealthy in all areas of his life than any other known individual in Biblical times. Proverbs is filled with the wisdom he had acquired such as in Proverbs 4:7, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." and again in 3:5,6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways, acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths."
It would do us all good just to sit down and read Proverbs again and again and allow wisdom to impart into our minds. Choosing wisely in all our ways leads to a life of abundance. Jesus said in John 10:10 that He had come that we would have life and have it more abundantly. He didn't intend for us to barely get by day by day, but with all He came and ultimately fulfilled, He desired our lives to be abundantly blessed as we follow His direction throughout life.
Today you and I have been given another opportunity to make a fresh start in life. We can choose to enjoy today wisely or we can choose to enjoy it haphazardly; either way we are left to face the consequences of our choices. So as you begin your day, I pray you will choose wisely. Choose the wisdom needed for each moment of time and enjoy the blessings God has in store for you throughout your day.
May the end of your day be better than the beginning so when you lay your head to rest at the close of your day, you can proudly whisper, "It is well with my soul."

What Love Our Father Bestows

What Love Our Father Bestows as we place our trust in Him! Ephesians 2:4-10 NIV declares, "But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved; And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
As we begin another day may we remember how much our Heavenly Father loves and cares for each of us and that every provision was made for us to enjoy the abundance of His love, now and forevermore, love never ending. God's grace is truly sufficient for every need we will ever encounter, so if life begins to stress you today, take a quick 'time out' for just a few minutes; step back from the problem and take a slow, deep cleansing breath. Blow out all the negative thoughts as you breathe in the positive, knowing that God's got this. Allow His peace to flow through your mind, reminding you of His promises as He refreshes and restores your peace of mind. Feel the warmth of God's love bringing back that smile on your face and peace of mind as only He does best. You really don't have to worry about all this, your Heavenly Father has it all covered!

Now feeling His peace, you can restart your day in the fullness of His mercy and grace. May the end of this day be better than the beginning as you allow Holy Spirit to comfort you, refresh you, and bring you peace throughout this day and all those to come. Be blessed, dear friends- God loves you and so do I~~~

Under the Shadow of The Almighty

What peace to know God watches over us to protect us in All Our Ways as we trust in Him. I became overwhelmed this morning as I read in Psalm 91 of God's wondrous protection and great love so I want to share it with you today from the New Living Translation. I ask that you also read this passage sometime soon and allow it to really sink into the very depths of your soul.
"Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him. For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished. If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For He will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”
Praise The Lord! Isn't this such a powerful passage of protection and promise? There is so much promise all through God's precious Word and as we read and learn more from His Word, it becomes alive within us, making us more than conquerors through Jesus Christ, as sons and daughters of the Most High God. Knowing He is with us in every situation day or night, and that He dispenses His angels to watch over those who put their trust in Him brings a peace beyond all measure. He loves us, His children, and desires to give us good things and His standard of good is far above anything we can ever imagine! No greater joy, no greater peace, no greater assurance can be found than under the shelter of Almighty God.
He has given each of us a new day with fresh mercies and He eagerly awaits our invitation to walk along side us and guide us in all our ways. It is In Christ that we can do ALL things, if we only believe when we ask and rest under the shadow of His wings. May you feel the peace of God's love and protection and enjoy a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~~~

It's All In Knowing Who He Is And Whose I Am

My heart is overwhelmed at the awesomeness of our Heavenly Father and His Faithfulness to watch over and protect us in all our ways. No matter the situation, no matter the time of day or night, no matter where we are located at the time of trouble, He is there to protect, to comfort, and to guide us in all our ways! How awesome is our God!
In Psalm 139:1-18 David proclaims, "You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise: you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue, you Lord know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there. If I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn: If I settle on the far side of the sea; even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me," even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day for darkness is as light to you.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth; Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand- When I awake I am still with you!"
Although David was not a perfect man, sinning mightily to have another man's wife, God still had a plan for David's life; and as David began seeking answers from the God of all creation, he became known as "a man after God's Own Heart." We too can become 'men and women after God's own heart' when we seek Him with all our heart(Jer 29:13).
We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God(Romans 3:23), but through our Lord Jesus we are made the righteous of God, redeemed by His precious 'life-giving' blood. What a honor it is to serve a living God Who watches over us in all our ways and to know that He is working within us, walking beside us, guiding our footsteps, guarding our conversation, so that all things work together for our good. To know Him is to Love Him!
I pray that as we truly seek the Lord and come to know Who He Is, we too shall be known as 'men and women after God's own heart' as well! Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, God loves you and so do I~~~

LEARNING TO FLY HIGH THROUGH THE STORMS

Just something about enjoying the beauty of birds with all their skillfully placed strokes of color, the ease with which they fly or just rest upon branches, that brings a peace over my being as to the awesome magnificence of our God. Each bird so gracefully adorned with colors placed in just the right place and not a one exactly the same, much like us. We are all so wonderfully and skillfully made, not to look like someone else, but to be unique in our own creative body. God lovingly created each of us to be His prized possession and to enjoy His creations that surround us.
I think about the eagle and its unusual large eyes compared to the size of its head allowing it to have extremely keen eyesight. Eagles are admired the world over as living symbols of power, of freedom, and transcendence. Such grace displayed as they fly high into the heavens overriding storms that may arise, bringing Psalm 91:1,4 to mind: "He that dwelleth in the Secret Place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." v.4 "He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust; His truth shall be thy strength and buckler."
God has created such an awesome world for us to enjoy, but in our busy lifestyle we forget to stop and smell the roses, to lie under the moonlight and watch the stars and for a fleeting moment maybe catch the glimpse of a falling star; yet with all He has created there is peace to be found in taking time to just lay aside the cares of this life and enjoy the awesomeness of our Creator and all He has created for our good pleasure.
I encourage you today to lay aside time to enjoy the life you have been given because none of us are promised tomorrow or even the next moment in time. So let's learn to fly free like the birds. Let's allow our wings to soar high when conditions seem less favorable. Let's learn to dance as if no one is watching and enjoy the beauty of nature that surrounds us while bringing honor to our mighty Creator, and let's have a wonderfully blessed day. God loves you and so do I~

We Can Have What He Says, If Only We Believe!

God is certainly doing new things all over our land and over the past couple years I have personally witnessed Spirit moving so pronounced in my life and in my family's life that only the hand of God could have made these things possible. God is so loving, forever faithful, and forever able to accomplish all He has promised in Word, If Only We Believe!
The Word declares that it is by faith that all things are accomplished! Through faith in Christ Jesus and His finished work while He was on earth, and with Jesus being submissive to the Father's will and perfect plan in His earthly life, we can stand redeemed today, as joint-heirs to all the Father has given into Jesus' hands to share with us without hesitation...If Only We Believe!
We can become More Than Conquerors through faith in Christ Jesus, If Only We Believe! Our faith is only the shadow of untold blessings God desires to shower upon our lives, if only we believe! When we have a need and go to Him in faith declaring the Word over that need, we can have what It says we can have, If Only We Believe!
If you are being overcome by cares of this life and don't know what to do and can't seem to get your head above the water, just get into the Word of God and learn who you are in Christ Jesus! The Word of God is our road map through this life! And It is our Guide! Every situation that arises in this life is covered in the Word! As you begin searching through the Word for answers, you will begin to understand that God didn't just create us here to leave us here until we die. He created us to enjoy an abundant life in Christ Jesus in all our ways! There is nothing we will encounter that Jesus has not already made provision for our deliverance; But how will we know unless we get the Word in us! Hearing the Word builds our faith and we begin to realize God will always honor His Word! He must honor His Word as it proclaims because His Word Cannot Lie!  So let's begin to "Ask, Seek, Knock" and realize that all who seek Him will find Him, when they search for Him with all their heart!
The Word of God empowers us to become more than conquerors. From the moment we made Jesus Lord of our life, we are no longer ours, but a child of the most High God!  Joint-heirs with Jesus and all His righteousness! and once this revelation begins, a light goes on within us and suddenly, the reality of who we now are becomes alive and makes us wanna shout- WOW! So, Go ahead and shout it out! "I am child of the most High God in Christ Jesus!" Check it out! Read His Word! Search the Word and determine in your heart of hearts in Whom You Believe!  As you Find out Whose you really are along with all the rights and truly believe what It says, You will never be the same in Jesus' name!
Don't Ever Let Man Define Who You Are! But allow the Word of God to proclaim who You are in Christ Jesus..."You are the Redeemed Of the Lord Jesus"... "You a Child of the Most High God through Christ Jesus"... "You are Blessed and Highly Favored"... "You are The Head and Not the Tail". Get the Word in you until it makes you alive and well inside out; Knowing beyond a doubt that the Word of God is true and cannot lie! Know beyond a doubt, that God is within you during every situation of your life and is just waiting for you to proclaim the Word so He can perform it quickly!
It's time we declare who we are in Christ Jesus and Whose we are! It's time we are Believers in every sense of the word and that we Know the power we possess in Christ Jesus! It's time we begin to live that abundant life predestined for us! It's time we become Victors instead of victims, more than over-comers instead of being overcome. And We can do it, in Christ Jesus, as we get the Word deeply embedded within us! So come on, Let's live a victorious life and be all we can be for His kingdom!
Enjoy a wonderfully blessed life, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~~~

Safety Under The Shadow Of The Almighty

I want to share God's promised protection for all of us from His Word:
Psalms 91 (KJV) "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet; "Because He hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because He hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation."
Dear friends, we may be confronted with things of this world that cause us to take a step back and be concerned but Holy Spirit reminds us that God is forever faithful!!! He watches over His Word to perform it quickly and it never returns to Him void. So today, whatever may cause you to worry or be uneasy, allow the Word to comfort you and build you up knowing that GOD already has this in the palms of His hands. Be blessed today, dear friends! God loves you and so do I~~~

It's All In Who He Is, Not Who We are

Just wanted to share a little ray of Son-shine with you today regarding who you really are! Something about rainy gloomy Mondays that seem to get people down and right now many are going through some really tough situations in their lives. Many may feel you failed in your roles as students, teachers, pastors, wives, husbands, employees, employers, church members, neighbors, and family members; but I encourage you to stop where you are and take a slow deep breath, relax, and realize that God has this all in His control.
God only expects you to be YOU! Nothing more! He created you to be exactly who you are right now: the apple of His eye! YOU are His rare and precious jewel in His crown of crowns adorning His kingdom. He created you to be His child and He loves you just the way you are! So stop allowing others to describe who you are and what you have to be and begin to know your Creator so you can enjoy life to the fullest! God loves you more than words can describe. He loves you unconditionally and desires to shower you with blessings untold. He wants to love on you and spoil you with His kindness!
There is nothing in this world you have ever done or will ever do to stop Him from loving you. So when negative thoughts come to mind, remember Whose you are. Remember that you are a creature filled with Immense Power as Holy Spirit abides within; and you were created in the very image of God. Remind yourself constantly that it is the Father's will to give you an abundant life in Christ Jesus filled with hope and prosperity, of gentleness and love, of peace and harmony, and that He desires to shower you daily with fresh mercies and fill you with grace forevermore.
As you think on these things, I pray you can lift up your head and smile as your despair is replaced with a new hope in Christ Jesus. You can do all things through Christ which strengthens you; and You can begin to enjoy being YOU!  Have a wonderfully blessed day because God loves you and so do I~~~

Called Out of Darkness Into The Light

"Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me; I once was lost but now I'm found, was lost but now I'm found. Twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed. My chains are gone, I've been set free; my God, my Savior has ransomed me; and like a flood His mercy reigns; Unending Love, Amazing Grace. The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be, as long as life endures. The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, the sun forbear to shine; But God, Who called me here below, will be forever mine.  My chains are gone, I've been set free; my God, my Savior, has ransomed me; and like a flood His mercy reigns; Unending Love, Amazing Grace."
Chains broken, sins forgiven, former sins forgotten, Called out of darkness into His Light; all by the Grace of a Loving God, a Wonderful Savior. I Peter 2:9 declares, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession; that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light."
It is our Father's will that we walk not in darkness but as children of Light; reflecting His Love throughout the world. His Light shines in the darkness and only those who choose not to comprehend it are left in darkness (John 3:19). As His Gospel is shared, Light springs forth into the very hearts of men and women who accept Him and the world is made brighter because of the Light that shines from deep within our hearts. For tho we were once darkness, we are now light in the Lord, so let us walk in the Light as noted in (Ephesians 5:8).
Day by day, moment by moment, we are being made more and more like Christ, Who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Called to walk and talk with Him in a new and God-glorifying way so others can see the light and hope that is within us, through Christ Jesus!(Matthew 5:16) and they will want to know the hope to which we were called and recreated. The hope that breaks loose every chain that binds and once kept us in darkness.
Now that we have been called out of darkness, let us walk in His Light to the very best of our ability so others seeing His good work within us, will believe and glorify our Father which is in Heaven. Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, God loves you and so do I~~~

His Love Lights The Way

Good morning everyone! It's bitter cold outside so bundle up and allow the Love of Jesus to warm your hearts as you take time to reflect on His tender mercies and forgiving grace. Mercies that are renewed every morning with a continuous refill and a Grace that reaches higher than the highest mountain and deeper than the deepest sea.
His Love lights the way out of darkest as He wraps us securely in His protective arms. Never a tear will fall that He doesn't see, nor a wound be applied that He cannot heal. His Love casts out all fear and brings peace like none other. He is the way, the truth, and the light through which no man shall see the Father but through Christ Jesus and Him glorified!
I pray you have a wonderfully blessed day as you share His love to those you meet along your way! Enjoy your journey through life because God loves you and so do I~~~
