The Mouth Speaks Forth

Garbage in, garbage out; good in, good out. At some point, what we see and hear moves from just being in our head to being in our hearts. Anger, brawling, slander, malice, envy, hatred, cursing, betrayal, manipulation, deception; all come from the confines of our heart.  What we bring into our home invades our minds and eventually our hearts, and what is in our hearts will eventually come out our mouths and dictate our actions. Jesus tells us in Luke 6:45, "The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart; for the mouth speaks what the heart is full of."
David declares in Psalm 101:2-4, "I will walk in my house with a blameless heart. I will set before my eyes no vile thing. The deeds of faithless men I hate; they will not cling to me; men of perverse heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with evil." He makes it clear that leading a blameless life takes careful consideration in all we do. It's up to us to be on guard and make the effort needed to turn away from evil and focus on what is good. Guilty pleasures fill the heart with garbage; but Godly pleasures sweep the heart clean. 
Paul instructs us in Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever admirable- if anything is excellent or praise worthy, to think about such things." 
So as we go about our day, let's be mindful of all our mouth speaks forth. Let's take time to fill our heart and mind with God's Word and start our day feeling refreshed and equipped to accomplish whatever God has planned for this day we have been so blessed with. Just as a warm shower refreshes and revives us, allowing time to enter into God's presence and allowing His Spirit to flow over and through us, refreshes and revives our minds. Filling our mind and heart with good things equips us to speak forth good things; for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks!

CALL UPON HIM WHILE HE IS NEAR

"Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know" (Jeremiah 33:3). God urges us to call upon Him so He can show us things beyond our wildest imagination. Things that are necessary for our growth and development of character. Things that boggle our minds and cause us to be distressed. He is the God of all creation who holds all the wisdom ever needed. He eagerly holds all our answers and is ready to deliver them to us as we call upon Him. But He wants to talk With us, not just listen to us! He created us(male and female) so He could walk and talk with us in the cool of the day, as noted in Gen 3. Wouldn't it be wonderful to walk and talk with Him today; to be called a "friend of God?" A friend is someone you can share anything and everything with, and that's what God wants from you and me today. 
We all know the value of Prayer as we make our petitions known to God, but learning to wait and listen is having a conversation with God. Undisturbed dedicated time, just you and Him in no hurry; now that's building a relationship with Him. Now when you consider your relationship with God, is it just prayer, or is it as friends? Is He someone you can tell anything and everything to, share your secrets with? And if you are really friends, shouldn't you wait and hear what He has to say as well? Do you go in prayer as a servant to your King, or have you built a relationship with Him that allows you to go to Him as your Best Friend, as Abba Father? 
Even though Jesus is our Lord and Savior, Our King, He told His followers in John 15:15 NIV, "I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn't confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me." Jesus wants His followers to know Him as their Friend. He has confided in us His deepest secrets and Holy Spirit continues to make all things known to us as we call upon Him. He is the dearest Friend we will ever have or ever need, Who is always accessible 24/7, never out of range, never too busy to hear us when we call. He is Always with us as we call out to Him; and that's His promise to us with a Lifetime Guarantee, written in blood! So hadn't you rather have a friendly conversation with Him rather than a simple prayer?
Bear in mind that His answers don't always come quickly, and more often than not, they may take some time to deliver; but when He answers, it's never too late, it's never wrong, and it is always perfect and at just the right time, as He declares in Isaiah 55:8,9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," saith the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." God has great plans for our future and wants only the Best for His Child as He declares in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." 
It's when we don't listen to Holy Spirit trying to guide us and we get so impatient waiting, that we try to handle things on our own and we cause negative things to occur in our lives. The negative results were not caused by God, but from our lack of patience in Him answering the way we thought it should be! 
Remember that His ways are good ways and we only seek to fulfill our thoughts. If we really want to fulfill His plan for our lives, we must learn to have faith that in His time and in His way, He will answer in the way that is Best for everyone involved. Even when we make messes out of our lives from being so impatient, He can still take our messes and turn them around for our good. It's when we finally stop interfering and allow God to work things out for our good, that our messes become a message and our tests become a testimony, I believe that's what Paul learned and was teaching in Romans 8:28,"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."
So whatever you may be encountering in your life today, give it to God and allow Him to work things out in His timing, in His will, and in His perfect way. Call upon Him while He is near; He's waiting eagerly for your call. Doesn't matter what your need is, God cares. No matter how big or how small, if it matters to you, it matters to Him. As you surrender it to Him; you can step back from the situation knowing that it's in His hands and you can trust Him to meet your need in His time and in His way, Perfectly. 
I pray you can rest in His loving mercy and unending peace as you wait upon the Lord to meet your every need. God loves you and so do I~~~

Blessed Beyond Measure

Feeling such peace deep within! Satisfying Peace that whatever God says, He will do; in His way and in His time! God is Forever Faithful; yesterday, today and forever more!!! Just thinking of the goodness of the Lord and the many different ways He has blessed my life, and the blessings just go on and on and on. They are too numerous to count and too marvelous to remember them all, but that's our God! He's too marvelous for words!
We often become so complacent with life, that we forget that it is God who has made us and not we ourselves; that we are His creation that He loves beyond measure; and that He loves to shower us with blessings continually. But when we stop and think back on all His blessings and all the fresh mercies He gives us freely each new morning; it does our heart glad!
It's easy when difficulties come our way, to feel that He's not paying attention to what's happening in our life; but in reality, He is right there in the middle of it all fighting for us; watching over us, and had it not been for the Lord on our side, the circumstances could have been a much worse; but God!!!!
So today let's try to be mindful of God's love and count our many blessings. If we take a really good look at them, it will surely surprise us what the Lord has done. Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, God loves you and so do I~~

What Message Does Your Life Reflect

Ever look back and see how inspirational people have been in your life or your children's life? Ever watch them re-enact what they've seen or heard from others around them? Amazing how you come to realize how leaders who taught with such inspiration and encouragement have sown wisdom into our life throughout childhood and in to adult life. The seeds they had all planted, soon matured and began to spring forth; leaving lasting impressions that we could draw from as an adult. 
No matter our position in life; whether teachers, pastors, leaders, or those who have the power to influence others; we must all be mindful that children watch and learn from us every day as they grow. We may think little ones are not listening as they wiggle and squirm around us; then something happens in life and out of nowhere they pop up with something they've heard or seen, and we can't believe our ears! Where did they get this from? But they can tell you exactly where it came from!
Children and young believers not only hear what is said, but also watch our actions on how we respond to others in situations. These little ones are learning much more from life through our example than we could ever imagine; so with each step we take, each word we speak, each action we show; we must be mindful that we have these little eyes and big ears watching and listening to everything we say, good or bad, and they will surely copy our actions day by day. Children surely learn what they hear and see us do! So I ask you, "how firm is the foundation your child is being taught upon?"
Moms, Dads, Teachers, Preachers, we must all begin making time to communicate with Jesus very early in the morning, and allow Him to clothe us with His righteousness while filling our hearts with His love, before we set about our daily routines. Building that firm foundation on Jesus Christ will secure the day so we walk in His footsteps, speak His Words in kindness, and shower our children with Love, thereby following the purpose God has predestined for our life. The seeds sown early in one's life will continue to grow and mature, and with proper nourishment these little seeds will spring forth and produce a firm foundation that can withstand the toughest of times; because of early nourishment given. Proverbs 22:6 teaches "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it." 
Life can be hard at times, and how we react to it depends greatly upon what we were taught and have seen over the years from those who greatly influence our lives. Teaching our little ones to trust in the Lord through our example will either carry them through to victory, or will cause them to crumble under the stress of the load. The outcome is determined by the strength of their foundation; will it be strong or will it crumble? A strong foundation on Jesus Christ planted deep within their soul will spring forth during hard times and carry them through; so it's necessary for us to help build their lives upon that sure foundation of Jesus Christ and His righteousness.
Jesus teaches in Matthew 7:24-25 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man which built his house upon a rock; and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded upon the rock." Jesus compares our life to that house as He encourages us to build our lives upon the rock, the sure foundation of Jesus Christ! So when storms of life come upon us and the wind swirls violently around us, we will stand firm in Him... unshakable... unmovable... knowing that He who has begun the good work in us will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ(Philippians 1:6).  
As you begin this new day God has given, I pray you will be mindful of those little eyes watching how you handle situations that arise in any given situation. Consider the power you hold to influence and instruct these little ones by your example; and as you build upon a firm foundation, your anchor holds the solid rock. If it doesn't, I pray you secure your anchor in Jesus today, without delay!

Knocked Down

Everyone has those times when life seems to literally knock you off your feet; and in the past couple months I have endured so many losses, struggled through so many trials, and had to just stop my norm and take time to regroup. I find that it's during these times that I'm eternally grateful to have God with me, working within me, bringing comfort and peace so I can curl up in His arms and allow Him to catch my tears and love me back to life in Him.
Like a Faithful Loving Father, He is always right there anticipating my fall and ready to catch me as He tenderly scoops me close to His chest and brings comfort and peace so I can make it through. It's in these quiet times, lying close to His chest; wrapped snuggly in His loving arms, that I'm able to release all my cares into His keeping; as tears continue to fall our conversation gets in no hurry while He reassuringly sets my mind to ease.
Since June I seem to have been on life's roller coaster and before I could catch my breath another ride would occur. Didn't matter if it was uphill or downhill the speed life was going was much more than I could handle so that's when I knew Jesus had to take the wheel. My driving was inadequate for times like these and got me no where; but allowing Him to take full control, I knew I would make it because He never fails!
Being a caregiver all my life had brought on a control issue that makes it difficult to allow others to help during times when you really need someone to help but because you don't want to appear weak, you suck it up and try to punt until you can make it all better. But life has a way of making you deal with reality and it isn't always pleasant. Sometimes you just have to see life the way it really is; you have to accept people the way they really are; and stop trying to make everything or everyone the way you think it should be.
Now to a control freak this is not easy to say the least; and I've always had an issue of trying to be in control; and I know my family will testify to that fact. But I have found that the older I get and the more alone I feel, the less I really want to be in control, and would love to have someone to take the wheel and help make life better, without my telling them how or when to do it; but just let the chips fall where they may. In this stage of my life, I just want to enjoy the life God has given as it is, just the way it is; the good, the bad, and the ugly!  
I'm coming to understand why Jesus taught His followers in Matthew 6:25-33 to stop worrying so much about the issues of this life. By example He told them to look at the birds of the air who never sow, nor reap, nor store up provisions for later days; and the lilies of the field, how they never toil nor spin and yet there was none adorned as fair as them. He encouraged them to just take care of what truly matters; Seeking first the Kingdom and His righteousness and then God would supply everything else needed by His watchful care. We only have one life and it will soon be passed; and losing loved ones makes it all too surreal that only what's done for Christ will last!
So that's what I'm doing and why I'm sharing with you that when life tries to knock you down, don't expect to fall if you have committed your life to Jesus Christ. Rest assured that He will be right there at that split second to catch you in His loving arms and restore you until you can continue standing again on His promises. And you won't be standing alone because He is ever present! He is God our Healer, our Deliverer, our Refuge, our Comfort, our Peace; All we will ever need HE IS! We can Rest in Him, because He has us covered in the Palm of His Hands!

Brokenness Restored

So much devastation from hurricanes, fires and earthquakes shattering homes and families are being broken with shattered pieces beyond repair! Yet God whispers softly, "I'm still here, right beside you, through it all." 
God molded us in Him before we were born but as life would have it, things come along our way that begin to break us down and often we don't realize how shattered we are until we find our self totally broken and unfixable. We find our life so shattered in pieces that no matter how hard we try, we can't seem to put the pieces back together and be whole again. Desperation overtakes us and we acquire a sense of hopelessness. Broken from pain, from grief, from abuse, from neglect, from lack; loss of self worth; broken inside; feeling so alone; but when we turn to the heavens and cry out unto God. He hears our heartbroken cries and lovingly takes us in His arms and begins to restore us once again. 
It's in our brokenness that He picks up our broken pieces and begins to put us back together again; not the same- but better! He builds a new creation, a stronger version unlike the first. A new vessel unto honor as child of the most High God; and masterfully He remolds our broken pieces into a work of art in Christ Jesus. 
As we lay our broken pieces at His feet, He is able to make us whole again. No matter where you are... No matter where you've been... No matter what you're doing... No matter what you've done... No matter how bad you think you are... No matter how low you feel you've sunk... No matter how unlovable you feel you are... God loves you! And He loves you Unconditionally! Right where you are! Just as you are!  
Today amidst all the crisis and devastation, amidst all the pain and suffering in your life, why don't you "Pick up the broken pieces and bring them to the Lord, Pick up the broken pieces, Trust in His Holy Word; He will put you back together and make your life complete; Just place the broken pieces at the Savior's feet."  No matter what you are going through or what has been done, God is right there beside you ready to take your broken pieces and make you whole again. Trust God, He Never Fails!

Declaring The Word As Truth

This morning I feel so overwhelmed and filled with God's loving grace and strength from on high that I just want to shout from the hilltops, "How Great is my God!" My God, Forever Faithful and True, Loving and Caring; bringing these lyrics to mind: "Our God is Greater, Our God is Stronger, God You are higher than other; Our God is Healer, Awesome in Power, Our God, Our God; Water You turned into wine, Opened the eyes of the blind; there's no one like You, None like You; Into the darkness You shine, Out of the ashes we rise, There's No one like You, None like You; Our God is greater, Our God is stronger, God You are higher than any other, Our God is Healer, Awesome in Power, Our God, Our God; And if our God is for us, then who could ever stop us; And if our God is with us, then what can stand against us?" 
The words to this precious song keeps rising from the depths of my soul, reminding me of God's declaration in Isaiah 54:17 that "No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgment He shall condemn; this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and your righteousness is from Me, says the Lord!" What devotion He has toward us; How Faithful He is toward us as He walks Hand in hand along side us; Empowering us to be more than overcomers through every trial. Everyone faces uncertainties in life but the one Surety of it all is that He never leaves us nor forsakes us, but is with us forever and ever, through it all!  
Today is a new day filled with many challenging opportunities that we can use for God's glory or we can allow them to defeat us by not holding on to God's promises in whatever may come our way. As for me and my household, we have chosen to serve the Lord with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind and so we will declare Proverbs 3:5,6 over today and "trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not unto our own understanding; in all our ways we will acknowledge Him and HE WILL direct our paths." As long as we keep our eyes set on Him, stay focused on His Will for our life, and listen attentively to His voice as He directs our path; we will not be defeated in Jesus' name, as noted in Romans 8:31.  
Life is ever changing throughout our day, so we must be alert with the Whole Armor of God as Paul warns the followers in Ephesians 6:10-18(NLT). "A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on All of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore put on Every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere."
It is more important in these latter days that we Stay Alert; in season and out of season. Having put on the FULL ARMOR of GOD, we can guard our family members who may be too weak to stand on their own by praying a hedge of protection around them. We can meet each challenge successfully while declaring His Word which never fails; and when the sun arises, being armed and ready; we are mentally, physically, and Spiritually ready to meet the demands of the day with God on our side.

To Know Him Is To Love Him

I love how John tells it just like it is as he begins his writings in the Bible:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. 
He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."
John had found His Savior and declares Jesus' love boldly to all who would hear. He declared himself to be the disciple whom Jesus' loves, I believe because He knew Who Jesus clearly was, and was so thankful for His divine Love toward him and all who would believe and receive Him. John clearly tells it like it is without hesitation and declares Jesus in God from the very beginning, and although Jesus' own people refused to accept Him, those who did believe received His merciful love and free gift of salvation.
In today's world, He continues to plead with mankind to come to know Him; signs of the times appear and people begin to panic from life threatening storms of life and they will pray for help; but when the threat ceases, their hearts and ears close once again to God's voice as they return to their old ways. When will they wake up and see the mercies of our God who has shown so much grace to each one of us, to our families and to our nation; and All He asks in return is a simple lasting relationship with us.
God desires a relationship with a pure and simple child-like trust; so He can walk and talk with us and literally share life with us. He wants us to come to know Him and the fullness of His grace toward us. There is nothing greater than the Love of God and the security that comes from knowing we are His and He is ours. He desires us to come to Him when we're weary, to snuggle up inside His loving arms; so He can rest us and give us peace within.
Just as John came to Know Jesus, he came to love Him; and as we come to know Jesus today, so do we. God loves us unconditionally and has given all of us so much; why can't we give Him a little love in return? Why can't we make a little time to love on Him for a while? There is No greater joy than to make someone feel loved and everyone loves a hug now and then, so why not take time to give God a great big hug as we curl up in His arms for a little while and love on Him in return? Just warms my spirit thinking about it!

Knowing Our Protector Loves Us

It's wonderful to see God protecting us while we journey this earth and how with every step we take, He supplies our need. No matter how great the storm we encounter, He lets us know He is there with us through it all. He tells us in Isaiah 41:10 "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Such a glorious promise from our Heavenly Father, our protector, our provider, supplier of our needs, and lover of our soul.
"My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean of Jesus' name. On Christ, the solid Rock I stand; all other ground is sinking sand; all other ground is sinking sand." Truly He sustains us day by day! Holy Spirit strengthens and guides us,reassuring us that we are never alone. In John 14:1-3 Jesus tells us, "Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you; and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also."
So many promises of Hope are within the precious Word of God and yet, we needlessly worry over things simply because we do not know the Word, nor the power within to claim the Word over that need. God watches over His Word to perform it quickly for all who trust in Him and seek to follow His plan for their life. It's time we grow up and no longer be like children, tossed about with everything that comes and goes; but once redeemed we become God's children. Children of the Most High God; blessed and Highly Favored; having the power through Him to move and think and have our being; a new creature recreated in Christ Jesus unto good works as we keep our eyes fixed upon Him and follow His never failing plan for our lives.
We can no longer dwell on the past, but move forward one day at a time, with spiritual eyes enlightened to a new life in Christ Jesus. Our Victory lies in staying focused on Him and the reality that He holds our today; He holds our tomorrow; and He holds every day hereafter in the palm of His hands. Knowing who He is and whose we are, allows us to relax and enjoy that abundant life He purchased for you and me. He constantly walks with us and desires to give us all we need for a life filled with happiness and prosperity in Christ Jesus. There is no greater assurance we can have than to know He watches over us day by day, every step along our way; protecting, providing, guiding and loving us unconditionally.
So Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come, Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home; When Jesus is my portion, My constant friend is He; His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me! And He does watch over us, every second of every day along our way. It is so wonderful to feel the Love of God deep within our soul and come to know Him and His power thereof? There are no greater promises than those written in His Word; No greater Love than our Father's Love; and No greater place I want to be than right smack dab in the center of His perfect Will. I pray you will come to know this same assurance and allow Him to guide you throughout your day; because God loves you and so do I~~~

HE'S COMING BACK LIKE HE SAID

Awakened with these songs going on in mind of our precious Lord's return and just wanted you to think on them as well. 
"Years of time have come and gone since I first heard it told, how Jesus would come again someday, If back then it seemed so real, then I just can't help but feel, How much closer His coming is today. The Signs of the Time are everywhere and there's a brand new feeling in the air, Keep your eyes upon the eastern sky, life up your head Redemption draweth night."
"High upon a mountain, from where He ascended, an angel of The Lord declared that it would be. He said, Don't stand here grieving for the one that you see leaving, In like manner He's coming back for you and me. I believe He's coming back like He said; I believe that a trumpet's gonna sound so loud one day it'll wake the dead; In the twinkling of an eye, He'll split the eastern sky; and I believe He's coming back like He said. I believe the time is nearing we'll soon see His appearing; well this could be the hour and this could be the day, when the saints from every nation will lose their gravitation and in the middle of the air be called away; And I believe He's coming back like He said. I believe that a trumpet's gonna sound so loud one day it'll wake the dead; In the twinkling of an eye, He'll split the eastern sky; and I believe He's coming back like He said. Yes, I believe He's coming back like He said."
"The sky shall unfold, preparing His entrance! The stars shall applaud Him with thunders of praise! The sweet Light In His eyes shall enhance those awaiting; and we shall behold Him, then face to face! The angel shall sound the shout of His coming: the sleeping shall rise from their slumbering place; and those who remain shall be changed in a moment; and we shall behold Him then face to face. We shall behold Him, Yes we shall behold Him face To face in all of His Glory! We shall behold Him, We shall behold Him face to face, Our Savior and Lord! Yes We shall behold Him, Our Savior and Lord!"
I believe it's safe to say that Sooner than we expect those clouds are going to unfold; that trumpet is going to sound; and in the twinkling of an eye, Jesus will split the eastern sky to gather those who are His; and we will gone from this life into that glorious life with Him forevermore! Glory to God in the Highest! Thank You Jesus! Praise His Holy Name!

I pray you are ready to meet Him. If not; there is no better time than the present; since no man knows the hour or the day of His return, and we are not promised the next moment of life here on earth. God loves you unconditionally; and His love is so much more than man could ever describe. I pray you will accept His free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior, so you will be prepared to meet Him when your time comes.

Signs Of The Times

As most of us have witnessed devastating changes in the atmosphere around us over the past few years, never has it been more fearfully noticeable than the present; with all the devastating tornadoes, hurricanes, and uncontrolled fires destroying property and lives throughout our great land. Never has there been a time that uncontrollable violence and hatred seemed so prevalent than in this present time. Never has there been a time where our future hangs in a loosely hanging balance of good and evil as the devil runs rampant over this entire earth causing havoc and doom. Never has there been more need for Hope than in this world we are now living. 
"Years of time have come and gone since I first heard it told, how Jesus would come again some day; If back then it seemed so real, then I just can't help but feel; How much closer His coming is today. Wars and strife on every hand and violence fills the land; still some people doubt He'll ever come again; But the Word of God is true, He'll redeem His chosen few; Don't lose hope; soon Christ Jesus will descend. Signs of the times are everywhere; there's a brand new feeling in the air; Keep your eyes upon the eastern sky; Life up your head, redemption draweth near."
Never has there been a more needed time to draw near to God and make sure our loved ones are ready to meet Him when He returns as He declared. More than ever before; now is the time to be sharing the Love of God in Christ Jesus so others can see the Light and Hope He brings in this world of devastation. As we all are clearly witnessing the signs; God is striving with man's hearts to repent and turn back to the God who controls the windy weather, the sunshine and the rain; Who put this universe together with His great love and domain; Who understands each little heartache and even knows the pain we bear; and Who never gets too busy to give an answer to our prayer. 
In the midst of all this devastation, there is no time to delay! Now is the time to accept His free gift of salvation and total liberty in Christ Jesus today! Don't keep putting it off! What God says in His Word is true and He will return to gather His children out of this corrupt and devastating world! The signs of the times are in the air all around us and Redemption draws near! 
Never before have I felt this strong a need to beg you to be prepared to meet Him in the air for He is Coming Soon! Search your heart and mind and make today a surety of your salvation in Christ Jesus because God loves you and so do I~~~

LIFE IS GOOD, BUT GOD IS GREATER

Such a beautiful day... Loving the hint of cooler days around the corner as fall approaches and the leaves begin to bring forth their innermost beauty in full display across the mountaintops. Always brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart; acts as a reminder of all God's beauty that surrounds us and the multitude of the many blessings He has granted me and my family throughout dry seasons. No matter the season, There is always something to be grateful for, if only we take time to look.
If you are down and depressed today, take a minute to really look around you and see all the wonders God has given us today. Think back on your past and look at where you were and where you are today- you didn't get here by accident. You may not be where you want to be; but thank God you're not where you were!
Life is a process of time and if you look deep within, you will find blessings within your life that may surprise you. Our past makes us stronger and can shape us into a mighty witness of God's tender mercy and unconditional love, if only we see beyond our past and look forward to our future. God has a good plan for your life, so get excited about your future.
Get out of bed each morning, expecting to see what He has planned for you. Look for the good in all that surrounds you. Choose to see beyond what is visible to the natural eye, and see the light of His glory ushering in a new day filled with fresh mercies as His hand reaches out to walk hand in hand with you throughout your day. And then Smile! Go ahead and smile! it's not painful- just smile and smile again as you begin to feel His love swelling up within you as you begin to enjoy all the beauty of your surroundings. Life is good... but God is Greater!

IN THE EYE OF THE STORM

With all the fear and anxiety building from the hurricane season and uncontrolled fires blazing out of control, the lyrics to this song by Ryan Stevenson hold a constant reminder that no matter what is going on around us; no matter how bad conditions are; no matter how devastated we feel, God remains in control. No matter what is going on or what we are going through, His Love surrounds us in the eye of the storm. 
There is Peace in the midst of every storm of life, and His name is JESUS! There is Hope in times of distress and His name Is JESUS! There is One who loves us unconditionally regardless of our creed, our color, or our worldly status, and His name is JESUS! Struggles of life will continue to take place as long as this world exists, but the Creator of All Heaven and Earth has already told us to fear not when tribulations come against us, because HE (JESUS) has already overcome them all. And because He overcame them all, we hold the power to become more than conquerors through Him who loves us and gave Himself for us, that we be free from all sins, fears, and anxiety as we trust in Him.
Beyond any shadow of doubt, His Love surrounds us, His Peace consoles us, His Comfort soothes us, and His arms are always stretched wide open, waiting to embrace us in the eye of every storm we encounter throughout this life. 
I pray you that you find Peace in the eye of your storm, knowing that He loves you beyond measure, and so do I~~~

How Clear Is Your Hearing?

 It's wonderful to feel the refreshing that is found after resting in God's presence and allowing Him to renew your mind. Sometimes life overwhelms us and we just have to take a time out, look up, and relax in His presence! There is never a time that I have not found God waiting patiently for me to acknowledge His presence and become saturated in His peaceful Love!
His faithfulness never waivers nor ceases to amaze me! This song continues to play in my mind, over and over; "Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father; There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;  As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be. Summer and winter and springtime and harvest; Sun, moon and stars in their courses above; Join with all nature in manifold witness; To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love. Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth; Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide; Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine with ten thousand beside. Great is Thy faithfulness; Great is Thy faithfulness; Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided; Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me."
Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us,"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." And time after time, I have proven God's faithfulness and always found Him to be true!  Always faithful; Always present; Always on time; He changes not, as declared in Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." I find that I may not always agree with His answers, and definitely not with His timing; but I do know His ways and timing is always perfect so I have learned to trust in Him; knowing that He has a perfect plan for me and only wants what is best for my life as noted in Jeremiah 29:11,"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." 
As I learn to be more submissive to God's will and spend more time getting to know Him, I find this to be a good thing; because it's bringing me into a closer relationship with Him and the ability to hear Him more clearly. It is so reassuring to be able to hear Him as He guides me in all my ways and directs my path, because John 10: 27-28 tells us,"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me; and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." 
So in my learning, I want to hear the Shepherd's voice clearly and be able to follow Him in every phase of my life; and just as the Word tells us that His sheep hear the voice of their shepherd, I want to be so submissive to Him and so in touch with Him, that He never has to call me twice to pay Him attention!
