Wake Up Call

Good morning! Can I pour you a nice cup of coffee as we chat today?.......Busy readying yourself for the day ahead? Anxious you won't be able to accomplish all your goals today? Finding there are not enough hours in the day to get everything done? Well, I have some good advise for you.....This is your “wake-up” call to spend time with Jesus. I love to share my morning coffee early in the morning with Jesus...just sipping my coffee and sharing my cares with Him....reading His Word and then listening as He encourages and instructs me throughout my day. He is the one Who completes me!
I can be all 'dressed out' and think I'm ready for the day, but if I forget to spend those precious moments with Jesus, I am not complete and I find that sharing my day with Him gets me off to a great start. I find He makes my nice cup of coffee taste even better as His aroma fills the room and satisfies all my senses. I know He must have the best coffee brewing right now in Heaven; Can't you smell it brewing? Did you take time to sniff? Ummmm, such rich aroma fills the air as His presence is felt! Don't worry friends, I haven't lost it; I've actually found it! The key to a joyful life begins with Christ Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith. He is my strength, my joy, my peace, my comfort; everything that matters in life comes from deep within...Christ in me, the hope of glory....I in Him and He in me.
We are encouraged in Isaiah 40:31 “But those who wait for the Lord (who expect, look for, and hope in Him) shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up (close to God) as eagles (strong and soaring); they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired. We must learn to slow down our busy pace in the day and adorn our lives with power from on high... and that power is only ours as we begin-and-end each day communing with Him. Spending time with Jesus gives us renewed hope and strength for each new day.
Won't you begin now by taking time to spend a few minutes with the Lord before you rush out with your daily tasks? Make Jesus first in your life. Get up each morning and have coffee with Him....Even if you must rise earlier in the morning to do it, it will be well worth the effort. Your day will be more productive, you will feel more joyful, and most of all, you will experience the peace of God in ways you never realized. So, go ahead and enjoy your cup of coffee with Him today and be blessed, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~

SEEK AND FIND

Ever get ready to leave the house and can't find your keys? So you look everywhere and begin a frantic search; opening doors, looking under things, adrenaline begins pumping, you shout, you yell, you cry, and still.... no keys!
In total frustration you finally collapse onto a chair, cover your face in your hands and in total exhaustion you plead, "God help me find those keys".....
and after a few minutes you catch a breath and finally uncover your face; you look up and your eyes become fixed on a certain spot....you go over and look, and what do you see?.....Your keys! WOW! How did you miss those keys over there?
Life is much like searching for those keys. We run around trying to fix everything and trying to make everything work the way it should until we don't know what else to do and become totally exhausted. We realize circumstances are out of our control and having done all we know to do, we become so fed up and devastated that we throw our hands up in total surrender. And having done all we know to do we just sit down, face in hands, and cry out to God for help.... when the answer was right there.... all the time!
So, Why do we wait until we are totally devastated before we seek God in times of need? Why do we not realize He holds the answers to every situation in life if we will only ask! Jesus told us in Mt 11:28 to come to Him when we are troubled and frustrated or burdened and He would give us rest. He is the Prince of Peace who gives peace of mind like none other and in Jeremiah 33:3 He tells us to call to Him and He will answer and tell us great and unsearchable things we do not know." And yet we continue to worry about the cares of life instead of seeking Him first in all our ways so He can direct our path.Prov 3:6
What we are really not taking in is that He cares about every little detail of life we encounter during every minute of every day He has given. In Mt 7:7 He encourages us to ask-so we can receive, to seek-so we can find, and to knock-so the door will be opened unto us. So let's stop trying to handle everything on our own. Let's stop trying to fix everything, stop trying to control every thing; and begin to submit to His will and His guidance throughout our day. Let's start by asking Him to guide our day and to fine tune our ears so we can hear His instructions along the way.
We can all have a wonderfully blessed day if we keep our minds upon Him and seek Him in all our ways. When we seek Him we will find rest unto our souls and I pray you will do just that, dear friend, because God loves you and so do I~~~

An Act of Kindness

As the Spirit of God hovers over America, searching for willing vessels He can use, I wonder how many people will surrender to God's will and allow Him to touch others through them today; whether by words of inspiration and encouragement spoken, or a gently touch or a caring hug, or by helping someone in financial need, or by offering a labor of love to accomplish a task needing completion.
A willing vessel is all God needs to accomplish many needs in our world today, and all we have to do is to purposely listen for His direction. You could be the answer to someone feeling hopeless and in need of an answer today- not tomorrow- or next week- but who needs to be shown today that God cares and can use others to meet their need. Someone's life could be hanging in the balance and you could be that one little act of kindness that can turn their life around.
So I pray that as you go through this day, you will purposely look for ways to extend a helping hand or to offer an act of kindness along your way. We can make a difference in this world just by purposely being 'kind one to another, tenderhearted forgiving one another, even as God in Christ, has forgiven us'(personally paraphrased Eph. 4:32).
So let's go out and have a rewarding day for the kingdom of God and be all we can be for His glory sake! Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, God loves you and so do I~~~

The Spirit is Drawing

The Spirit is drawing today and I'm drawn today to Isaiah 43:19(NIV) as God is saying, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness", and truly God is doing a new thing all around us today. Can you not see it? I certainly can..... I can feel it in the atmosphere; I can feel it as we gather to worship; I can feel it as I lie down to rest in His perfect peace; I can feel it as I open my eyes every morning to His fresh mercies and precious gift of a brand new day. I can feel it in the very depths of my soul throughout the day and night.....This newness in Christ Jesus causing gifts planted deep within to be awakened and spring forth; no more lying dormant, but springing forth with a new found determination to be all I can be in Christ Jesus.
Holy Spirit has been stirring the waters in our churches for quite a while now; crying out for us to draw closer, to seek Him and His power thereof; and the stirring continues to grow stronger and stronger and I can feel His heart seemingly breaking as He cries out for us to move in a little closer, to trust Him more completely, and to Seek Him in the face of all the troubles surrounding us; while laying aside the "norms" of worship and yielding to His Spirit hovering in the midst. After all, it's ALL ABOUT HIM- not us! God desires for us to seek Him and with our minds stayed on Him, He is able to bring us up into higher realms of praise and worship and meet needs only He can make possible.
God seeks personal relationships with each and every one of His children. He created us to be His family; not just people He created who are distant and don't really know Him intimately! He wants us to feel truly loved and to be totally free from every hurt, hang-up, or bad habits that would cause us not to be able to enjoy all the blessings He wants us to enjoy. He desires to give us an abundant life, not just mediocre, but in excess- Abundantly!  We were created for His good pleasure, and as children of the Most High God, recreated through His son Jesus. He loves to see us enjoying the life He gives with new found freedoms that allow us freedom to be all we were created to be.... freedom in every area of life; freedom to rejoice, to sing, and to lift up holy hands and magnify the name of Jesus! "JESUS, Lover of my soul, Jesus I will never let you go, You’ve taken me from the miry clay, You've set my feet upon the Rock, and now I know. I love you, I need you, Though my world may fall, I’ll never let you go; My Savior my closest friend, I will worship you until the very end."
Holy Spirit is calling us to a newness of life in Christ Jesus with a freedom beyond our wildest dreams. The question is: Will you heed His calling? Don't you really want to feel FREE and able to really enjoy life as you go about sharing Hope and God's love to those you meet along your way? My prayer is that you will listen to that still small voice calling you today; urging you to trust Him completely, and allow Him to fill you with His Spirit so you can be all you can be for His kingdom sake.

Words Spoken

While reading this morning, I was reminded how Words hold the power to heal, to build up, to kill, and to destroy as they are spoken. Get into a crowd and just listen to the chatter all around! Words are being tossed out haphazardly, without even thinking, to those around. Some of the words will cause laughter, some will cause alarm, some may spread gossip, some will cause tears, and some will bring hope while some leave others devastated. No matter what word is spoken, ALL WORDS will have an effect on those who hear them.
From the beginning of time, Words spoken caused the world to come into existence as recorded in Genesis 1; GOD SPOKE..... and things became; one by one creation was formed by the Word spoken..... and even today, Words continue to be the most powerful thing known to mankind. Once spoken, words go forth and begin to mold those who hear them. Some Words will build up, some will encourage and some will inspire; but sadly; some will tear down, some will discourage, and some will even rob one's self worth.
Words are so powerful that they can bring life or they can kill. Proverbs 18:21(NKJV) tells us "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it, will eat its fruit"...and yet we continue to throw them out of our mouth without taking thought to where they will fall and how they will shape those who hear them. James 3:8-10 tells us " But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so."
So we see from the beginning, that Words hold the power to build up or to tear down, so let's put a guard over our mouth to assure words coming forth are used to encourage, to inspire and to build up one another in love and kindness as we go through the day. Let's be the Word recreated unto good works; redeemed by the blood of the Lamb Jesus, and let's enjoy this beautiful day God has given. Let's enjoy life and begin to build up one another as Jesus encouraged us to do. Let's be all we can be for His glory sake!
Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friend. God loves you and so do I~~~

Hovering Over Darkness

It's very early in the morning here around 5'ish and as I notice darkness upon us, I'm reminded of the great creation as darkness covered the deep and nothing had yet been created but the Spirit of God was hovering over the deep(Gen 1:2 NKJV) "The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters"..... and I wonder.....
The Spirit hovering over the darkness....I can just feel His anticipation that something was about to happen), and it reminds me of us being covered in the darkness of our sins and how the Spirit of God hovered over us; how He must have been so eager: waiting, lingering close at hand, anticipating the very moment we finally realize His presence and allow Him to bring forth light in the midst of our darkness, and how excited He must have been when we finally saw His light!
He loves us so much and I just cannot imagine living my life without Him in it! To feel His presence caring for me. What an incredible measureless blessing to know Him and to know He works all things for my good, performing incredible works needed within my life to make me the best I can be; how He encourages me, empowers me, teaches me, and comforts me, bringing such wonderful peace to my heart and soul with full assurance that I am never alone! He sticks better than super glue--closer than any other; and there is absolutely nothing that we can do to make Him love us any more or to love us any less because He is God and God is LOVE!
While darkness may occasionally attempt to keep us from seeing clearly and diminish our view, Holy Spirit is right there shining His light within us. I am confident that we could walk through life with our eyes closed and trust that He will never fail us or let us fall as our minds are stayed upon Him because God is forever faithful.
So today, I pray you will allow Him to shine forth His light in the midst of any darkness along your way so you can enjoy this beautiful day God has created just for you. He is hovering close by and anxiously waiting to meet your needs today. I pray you have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friend, because God loves you and so do I~~~

THE ROCK

"Where do I go when there's no body else to turn to? Who do I turn to when nobody wants to listen?
Who do I lean on when there's no foundation stable? I go to the Rock, I know He's able, I go to the Rock. I go to The Rock for my salvation; I go to the stone that the builders rejected; I run to the mountain and the mountain stands by me; When the earth all around me is sinking sand, On Christ the Solid Rock I stand; When I need a shelter, when I need a friend, I go to the Rock!
Where do I hide till the storms have all passed over? Who do I run to when the winds of sorrow threaten? Is there a refuge in the time of tribulation? When my soul needs consolation, I go to the Rock. I go to The Rock of my salvation; I go to the stone that the builders rejected; I run to the mountain and the mountain stands by me; When the earth all around me is sinking sand, On Christ the Solid Rock I stand; When I need a shelter, when I need a friend, I go to the Rock!"
The lyrics to this precious old song by Dottie Rambo gives hope that no matter what comes our way,Jesus is our Rock, Once and forevermore! Jesus, the One and Only Source who will always be there in time of need and desperation. He hears every whispers, hears our every cry, sees every tear, and cares about every little thing in life that concerns us. He is as close as the very breath you breathe and certainly hears as we cry out to Him in need. He always has been the God of more than enough, who came and dwelt among us and continues to watch over us even today. "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God, The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him and without Him was not any thing made that was made. In Him was life and the life was the light of men and the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended It not."(Jn 1:1-5)
The choice is ours to comprehend the light of Jesus and make Him Lord over our life and receive the power of Holy Spirit as He empowers us to speak the Word boldly against those things that come against us, just as Jesus did in the wilderness. The Word gave Him and the Word gives us the boldness to proclaim, "Thus saith the Lord God" and so it was then, and is today, and will be forevermore!  Holy Spirit abides within empowering us to become 'more than conquerors' (Romans 8:37) in Christ Jesus.... 'who gives us the strength to do all things' (Philippians 4:13).
If you are not sure of the power you possess in Christ Jesus take a few moments to talk with Him and take time to really listen to Him. He loves to be invited for sit-down conversations any time of the day in any given situation, as He lovingly wraps His arms around us and hold us close, bringing peace like nothing this world has to offer. He is there beside you right now, with arms open wide, to welcome you just the way you are. He is the Lord our Savior, our Deliverer, our Peace. He is God of all mankind, and there is nothing too hard for Him(Jeremiah 32:27); so trust Him to do whatever may be needed in your life to bring deliverance and freedom like you've never known. It only takes a minute to invite Him into your heart and make Him Lord over all and you will never be the same again!
I pray you will think about it so you can have a wonderfully blessed day, because God loves you and so do I~~~

Undeniable Love

While reading in I Peter 1:3-4 (NIV)  "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!  In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you,"  I was given new hope as my eyes caught the passage 'into an inheritance that can NEVER PERISH, SPOIL OR FADE--kept in heaven for you', and my eyes latched on as it became alive within my spirit bringing a new hope, a new blessing from God above. My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus Christ' and righteousness (right standing with God through Jesus Christ)..... Not by anything I have done so I could boast, but through the works of Jesus Christ and His righteousness.
He conquered all that was needed to assure me that my sin debt is Paid In Full, Once and All time.
With the final seconds of His earthly life while hanging on the cross, knowing that all things were now accomplished, Jesus cried out, "It Is Finished!"(John 19:28-30). He had fulfilled everything required for our redemption. Once we repent and accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior our sin debt is Paid In Full, Once and Forevermore! Praise The Lord!   There is nothing else for us to do, nothing we need to clean up, no words left to be spoken, but to Rest in the works of our Lord Jesus and accept the righteousness given through His works.
So let's stop trying to make our self good enough to be His forgiven child and just relax in Him and in His loving grace. God loves each one of us with an unconditional love that goes far beyond our human thinking. No matter how far we've fallen, No matter what we have done, No matter where we are at in life, no matter the circumstances that surround us; when we call upon the name of JESUS to save us, He is right there to wash away EVERY sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It is Not by our works, but through Him and only through Him, that we are made the righteousness of God.
Now we have become children of the Most High God with the assurance that nothing can ever separate us from His love as found in Romans 8:31-39 (TLB), "What can we ever say to such wonderful things as these? If God is on our side, who can ever be against us? Since He did not spare even His own Son for us but gave Him up for us all, won't He also surely give us everything else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His own? Will God! No! He is the one who has forgiven us and given us right standing with Himself. Who then will condemn us? Will Christ? No! For He is the one who died for us and came back to life again for us and is sitting at the place of highest honor next to God, pleading for us there in Heaven. Who then can ever keep Christ's love from us? When we have trouble or calamity, when we are hunted down or destroyed, is it because He doesn't love us anymore? And if we are hungry or penniless or in danger or threatened with death, has God deserted us? No! For the Scriptures tells us that for His sake we must be ready to face death at every moment of the day-we are like sheep awaiting slaughter; But despite all this, overwhelming Victory is ours through Christ Who Loved us enough to die for us. For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels won't and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God's love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are-high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean- NOTHING will ever be able to separate us from the Love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He died for us!"
What blessed assurance that Jesus loves me: I am His and He is mine, forevermore!
Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friend. God loves you and so do I~~~

Peace Within

"There's within my heart a melody, Jesus whispers sweet and low, Fear not, I am with thee, Peace, be still, In all of life's ebb and flow. Soon He's coming back to welcome me, far beyond the starry sky, I shall wing my flight to worlds unknown; I shall reign with Him on high. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, sweetest name I know; fills my every longing, keeps me singing as I go."
How awesome to wake up with singing in my heart and feel the warmth of His love securely within; a feeling of Peace that passes all understanding; just one of those many blessings Jesus has given as He declares in John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." So, why in this world, would anyone not want to feel the love of God or to feel His peace warm the very depths of their soul? What a treasure I have in this wonderful peace, buried deep in the heart of my soul, So secure that no power can mine it away, while the years of eternity roll. Peace! Peace! Wonderful Peace!
Dear friends, I pray you feel the warmth of God's peace as you go through this day, and that in all things you share hope with those in need. Have a wonderfully blessed day, because God loves you and so do I~~~

Variety: The Spice of Life

Variety is the spice of life, and it's uniqueness separates all God's creation! As you look around, you will see a variety in everything that has been created: from mountains and trees to hilltops and valleys to the oceans and seas; and just look at all the birds of the air with each one so delicately brush-stroked by God's own hand; and then there are the seasons that bring in such a variety of colors such as Fall, which is now, as the trees display such varying colors of the autumn leaves; each one so breathtakingly colored as we look around and enjoy the beauty God has brought into our lives.
You and I are also various displays of God's handiwork, each of us uniquely designed and predestined to bring glory and honor to Him. He shares His love to one and all unconditionally because we are His and He is ours forevermore. We were created to enjoy life and share in His fellowship day by day as children of the most High God! We were Created by His own hand and recreated through the blood of His Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ unto good works!
None of us were created exactly the same; even identical twins who look the same and are difficult to tell apart, have different personalities. So if God created us differently, why do we try to look like someone else and want to be different from what we were created to be? Are we seeing clearly or seeing through a clouded vision that keeps us from seeing the reality of it all? Why are we not content to be who we are and who God created us to be? Could it be we are being deceived by the father of lies and deceiver of many? Could it be we are allowing our minds to be filled with negative thinking instead of positively knowing who we really are in Christ Jesus?
In all God's creation, He proved He loves variety as He declared after viewing His works "It is good!" So if God says we are good with our different shapes, colors, and sizes, then why are we allowing negative thinking to overshadow us and feel less than others, when in reality God loves and values each one of us unconditionally the same! Yes, God values YOU just as you are! There is nothing wrong with how you look so stop looking in that mirror thinking negatively about yourself; instead, look in the mirror and see the You God created you to be and begin to feel like the child of God you are.
Remind yourself daily that "God loves me just the way I am and there is nothing He doesn't love about me." Only you possess the unique qualities to be YOU! No one else possesses your special abilities, your special personality, and your special ways of being just who you are! You were specifically created by God to be who you are in Christ Jesus and no one else can fill your place, but You!
So today, take a good look at yourself and realize your Heavenly Father is smiling upon you and He adores you just the way you are-Unconditionally!
So go out there and enjoy a wonderfully blessed day being who you are in Christ Jesus, because God loves you and so do I~~~

Celebrate Recovery

Today I want to share Celebrate Recovery with all of you who may not know what it is and what it can do in your life. I am forever thankful for Celebrate Recovery and the freedom it has already brought and continues to bring into my life. CR(Celebrate Recovery) is an out-reach ministry offered at many local churches that is designed to help hurting people, regular people like you and me, who have been devastated by some thing or some one along life's way that has hindered us from moving forward and being totally free in Christ Jesus!  CR is free and open to anyone who feels a need or desires freedom from any thing in their life and would like to visit CR without any obligations! Freedom comes with great sacrifices and is not often easily achieved. Even the freedom Jesus purchased for our salvation costs a greater price than many of us realize and even today many of us are confused at how a past hurt, a loss, or even a childhood offense can cause a setback that would prevent someone from being a whole person- unable to live life without hang-ups; while others such as I feel they have no hang-ups or bad habits until they are open enough to search their hearts, But regardless, to thine own self be true!  CR can help anyone and everyone who desires change. No matter who you are, no matter how old or young you are, no matter how rich or how poor, no matter if educated or not, no matter your status in life; CR is for anyone who has the courage to be honest about their life's hurts, habits, or hang ups; and who desire healing and change.  Celebrate Recovery's trained believers in Jesus Christ provide safe, confidential, Christ-centered support groups as people walk through their pain together; not trying to fix anyone or tell us how we should walk or what to do, but allowing us to bring it front and center so we can see with our own eyes what needs to be done and find the courage to change what is needed. Many times the group can quickly identify with others' hang-ups in their own lives as well...and that's when we find some of the most compassionate, caring friends who have also been flawed along the way and we find we were not alone in our situation. CR helps to recover one's life based on biblical principles with the goal of letting God work through us as we realize we are unable to change us and we need His healing power to do the work within us for change. As the door to recovery is opened and we begin sharing experiences, we find God's strength overrides our weakness and we find the hope of change possible in Christ Jesus and Him alone with the process of freedom flourishing as we grow in God's grace and begin to move forward one step at a time!
I am so proud to be a grateful believer in Christ Jesus who through Celebrate Recovery's program found Deliverance and Freedom from the chains that had once kept me from being all I can be in Christ Jesus and Today I am Free!  Free to be ME and enjoy a wonderfully blessed life in Christ Jesus!

The Dawning of a New Era

Woke up this morning with a great feeling of newness of life, with health and strength bubbling up within me bringing the hope that in Christ Jesus I am made whole. No more sickness, no more distress, no more worrying about tomorrow but knowing that Jesus has this all covered in the palm of His hands. What peace and assurance comes from knowing that I am His and He is mine forevermore! As His Word declares my healing by the stripes He bore, I rest assured in His peace buried deep within my soul.
It's good to be alive! It's even better to be alive in Christ Jesus! It's good to finally be well from this lengthy illness and to know that no matter what comes my way today, I am never alone! Jesus walks beside me, Holy Spirit empowers me, and Heavenly Father watches over me, providing all my needs! It's such a joy to speak the Holy name of Jesus and know in my heart, that He is my Lord and Savior! Such a joy to feel His love washing over me, flooding through me, and to know what a mighty God He is! Such Love beyond measure! Peace like nothing else to be found! Immeasurable Joy flowing through my soul with full assurance that every Word He has spoken, every promise contained within His Holy Word, is mine as I believe in my heart, confess with my mouth, and reach out to receive.
There is nothing to fear but fear itself, so why would I fear when I have the peace of mind that comes from knowing Jesus is the Word and He is my Lord. The world is quickly changing and day by day authorities attempt to revise the Word, and sway others to their vain philosophies, but God's Word remains the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. He does not change! He is Forever Holy, Forever Loving, and Forever Faithful to honor His Word! It is you and I that must accept His Word, just as it is written, to govern our lives.
What a treasure we find in His wonderful peace buried deep in the heart of our soul; so secure that no power can mine it away while the years of eternity roll.
Today is the dawning of a new era where we all must decide who will be lord over our life. Will we allow the cares of this life and the earthly powers that be to rule our thinking, or will we take the Word as it is written to be our guide as we enjoy a new life in Christ Jesus as He has so freely given? It's time to choose who we will serve- God or man! As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!
I pray you choose this new life He gives and have a wonderfully blessed day, because God loves you and so do I~~~

The Gift of Time: Right Now -This Very Second!

Ever stopped to realize how precious the gift of time is in your life? How every second of every day God has given is such a rare occurrence that will never come again? How every second of every day can never be recovered and how even now, as you were reading this intro, time has slipped right through your fingers and will never come again? How learning to make the most out of every second of every day is vital to enjoying that purpose filled abundant life God has given?
Learning to enjoy 'right now', 'this very second', is more precious than we can ever imagine and so few of us realize that very fact! That is until time seems to stand still as a loved one is suddenly taken from us who can never be replaced and we recall all those precious seconds we wasted instead of making the most of those times you were given the chance to enjoy life together!
God has a way of gracing our lives with people who seem to make our day more meaningful and those who seem to complete us so once that loved one is no longer present, it leaves a gaping hole in our lives that can never be filled. In time we eventually learn to adjust our lives to carry on in God's strength as life marches on; and hopefully we learn to enjoy every second of the time we have with those left in our lives.
Right Now is the very second God has given for us to enjoy; so let's make the most out of every second and just be who we are right Now! Let's not waste a second of our today worrying about tomorrow since Jesus taught us in Mt 6:34 NIV "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." God wants us to enjoy the moment; to enjoy being who we are in Him and enjoy the life He has given. After all, It's in Him that we breathe, and move, and have our being. It's in Him that our lives are made complete.
We cannot re-live what has already been lived, we cannot turn back the time; so let's learn to enjoy every second of every day God gives with joy and peace as we breathe in the awesomeness of our God. Let's learn to LIVE every day to the fullest; to SING as if no one were listening; and to DANCE in the rain, as if no one were watching. Let's enjoy this life God has given and enjoy the fullness of His creations!
I pray that you can learn to enjoy every second of this life you are given. I pray you will be blessed with good health, with His peace beyond measure, and that when people see you enjoying life, they will see the Love of God as you spread love, joy and kindness along your way. And as always, I pray you have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, because God truly loves you and so do I~~~

Changing the World One Life at a Time

With all the dismay going around the world today with all the devastating hurricanes, volcanoes, criminal attacks, political disputes and poverty, we can make the world a whole lot brighter and make someone's load a whole lot lighter if we offer our bodies as willing vessels God can use to touch someone's life today. It only takes one person to make a change in someone's life and that one person touched reaching out to someone else, to cause a chain reaction in one life at a time, to make this world a whole lot brighter.
So where and when does the change begin? It begins in You and Me and it starts today because Now is the time to show forth God's glory as we share His Love one to another! Now is the time to open our eyes and see what is needed to help just one person today! Now is the time to hear what Holy Spirit is saying, not to just the churches, but to each one of us who profess we are God's children! Now is the time to be what we profess to be! Now is the time to be the hands and voice extended of Our Heavenly Father, Our Creator, Our Deliverer, Our Lord!
As He has provided for us, we should give forward with a grateful heart. Blessings are not given to keep, but are given so we can bless others as He has given! To those much is given, much is required. There is nothing God cannot do; Nothing He cannot supply; Nothing that is too far gone or too far lost that He cannot save! He is More Than Enough to meet every need today and He is ALL you and I need to accomplish His Will in meeting the needs of those we encounter today! Today is the day of Salvation and God is calling His people to be His hands and voice extended to this lost and hurting world. Will you answer His call today? Will you be His hands extended? Will you share hope to the lost and hurting?
The choice is yours! You can make the most of this day and enjoy the blessings of being a blessing as He supplies, or you can just live through the day unmoved by those around you. The choice is truly Yours! I pray you choose wisely and that you have a wonderfully blessed day as you bless others because God loves you and so do I~~~

GRACE

"Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me, I once was lost but now I'm found, was blind but now I see. 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved, How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed. Thru many dangers, toils and snares I have already come, 'Tis grace that brought me safe thus far and grace will lead me home. When we've been there ten thousand years bright shining as the sun, We've no less days to sing God's praise than when we first begun."
Grace! God's riches at Christ expense! Where would we be without grace? Ephesians 2: 8 "For by grace, are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God; Not of works, lest anyone should boast." Grace! such an amazing gift from God; full of unconditional love and tender mercies; not because of anything we did to earn it; totally free, unexpected and undeserved; all made possible through the works of our Lord Jesus and in Him alone!
God's grace showers us with unconditional love, total pardon from all our sins, and allows us access to share in the divine life eternally with God. God's grace is limitless and holds no boundaries; it reaches to the highest mountain and flows to the lowest valley to find the hurt, the lost, and lonely.
May today find God's grace stirring within you as you receive and share His love to those in need. Be Blessed today, dear friends, God loves you and so do I~~~

Changing Habits

Well good morning, dear friends! As you opened your eyes to a new day filled with fresh mercies from above, did you thank God for being able to breathe, and to move, and to get out of bed and enjoy the beauty of this new day He has given? It's a good habit to get into! being thankful for each new day gives us the ability to enjoy the life He gives.
Habits are so easily formed, and as we grow a little older and hopefully a little wiser, we tend to change our habits and take on new habits that are good for our overall well-being. Lately, I've been doing a lot of changes as I feel God leading me away from some of my comfort zones into some new avenues for my life. Many times, I feel unsure of those changes and begin to question if these changes are really what He wants me to do and if I'm really hearing Him right; but when I see the response of those changes I can feel God's loving smile upon me and I know as He's watching over me,  I'm learning to walk closer with Him, hand in hand, throughout the day.
I know that with God all things are possible and in His divine plan for my life, I have no cause to fear the unknown because Jeremiah 29:11 tells me, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." What a blessed assurance we have in God through our Lord Jesus! Being mindful to acknowledge Him in all our ways and listen attentively as He leads us out of our comfort zones and we become those yielded vessels God can use to accomplish His perfect plan for our life, while walking with Him along the way.
So, don't be afraid to venture out into those new avenues of life and don't get stuck trying to make sense of it all. Open your mind to His new ideas and the new direction God is trying to show you for your life. God knows how to guide us from one step to another, from one glory to another, and make those impossible dreams become reality, in little things as well as big things.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." That's why it is so important to seek Him first thing every day and to acknowledge Him in all our ways throughout the day; putting Him first in all things that pertain to our life because He already knows our needs, as well as the desires of our hearts, and as with any good father, He wants to give us the very best in life. We just have to change our old way of thinking and be open to His guidance and stop questioning new ideas He gives and trust Him completely in all our ways. As we change our way of thinking to allow His will to become our will and His ways to become our ways, we will reap abundant blessings in this life and in the life to come, forevermore.
Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, God loves you and so do I~~~~

Because Of Who You Are

"Because of who You are I give you glory; Because of who You are I give you praise; Because of who You are I will lift my voice and say, Lord I worship You because of who You are; Lord I worship You because of who You are. Jehovah Jireh, my provider; Jehovah Nissi, you reign in victory; Jehovah Shalom, my Prince of Peace and I worship You because of who You are; Lord I worship You because of who You are!"
Beautiful heartfelt praise comes forth in my spirit as healing becomes manifested and once sleepless labored days and nights without rest become peaceful as my strength is renewed and breathing eased with my mind stayed on the Lord. In all I do and all I say, I worship You, dear Lord. I rest in Your Presence, in Your Peace, in Your grace, in Your divine Love, and I praise You, my precious Lord as my heart is filled with songs of praise and worship to the Great I Am, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. My Healer, my Deliverer, my Provider, Supplier of All my needs.
What a Mighty God I serve. What a Loving Lord who watches over me and keeps me in all my ways. I will forever sing His praise. No matter what comes my way, night or day He is always with me, supplying all I need to come out victorious over every battle, over every disease, over every ailment. There is nothing that comes against me that He doesn't already have covered in the palm of His hands. He loves me so unconditionally that I just need to rest in Him and in His works to carry me through. He is such a Faithful Father to watch over me through everything I may encounter, great or small, and it just doesn't get any better than that!
I pray you come to know Him as your Heavenly Father, your Loving Savior, your Comforter and Guide as well, so you can feel Him watching over you in all things as you rest in His presence. Life is good but having God walk with you is so much better! Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends. God loves you and so do I!~~~

No Respecter of Persons

Feeling much stronger this morning and so thankful for the strength and healing God gives along with precious promises He has given within His Holy Word. Since God is no respecter of persons(Acts 10:34 and Rom 2:11), I love to personalize each scripture while inserting my name to the different phases and allow them to come alive in my Spirit such as reading Psalms 103:1-5 "I will Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, I will bless Your holy name! I will Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all Your benefits, You forgive all my iniquity, You heal all my diseases, You redeemed my life from the pit, You crown me with steadfast love and mercy, and satisfy me with good so that my youth is renewed like the eagle's" and in Isaiah 40: 25-31 NIV "To whom will I compare You, Lord...Or who is Your equal? I will lift my eyes and look to the heavens and say, "Lord, You created all these? You bring out the starry host one by one, and call them each by name. Because of Your great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing. LORD, you are the Everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth, You do not grow tired or weary, and Your understanding no one can fathom. You give strength when I am weary and power when I am weak. Even tho I grow tired and weary, I will not stumble and fall; because I know my hope comes from You who will renew my strength. So I will soar on wings like eagles; I will run and not grow weary, I will walk and not be faint." and also Isa 53:5 But You were wounded for my transgressions, You were bruised for my iniquities: the chastisement of my peace was upon You and with Your stripes I was healed."
Now many law abiding people become offended when they hear anyone paraphrasing the Word instead of reading the Word straight from the Bible as written for fear of the Lord, but when you know in Whom You believe and you personally know Jesus as your hope of salvation and you stand redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, then you know that Everything He says is true and being no respecter of persons, what He has done for one, He will do for all, because He loves each of us unconditionally and there is nothing we can do to make Him love any one of us more or love us any less than the other, so we can fully rest upon His Word and trust Him with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind. So I am convinced that as I take upon myself the promises enclosed in His Word, God is obligated to do the same for me as He did for anyone else as long as my faith is in Him and Him alone as I stand upon His written Word and trust Him to meet me right where I am; in whatever need I have; while walking the pathway of righteousness in Christ Jesus.
I wonder how many of us really understand the greatness of our Creator with such divine love and all the immeasurable blessings He has provided for our well being. What blessed assurance we have in His promises, but if we don't take the Word into our minds so we can meditate upon His promises in good times and bad, we will never know how great a Savior Jesus is, how great a Heavenly Father who watches over us, and how great Holy Spirit is living within us. Our God is Unchangeable, Unshakable, Unmovable, and Forever Faithful; He changes not! His Love holds no boundaries as He reaches down into the lowest low or reaches up to the highest high to rescue His children. I pray that today you will allow His gracious Love to Engulf you, His Word to Enable you, and Holy Spirit to Empower you, as you walk in the fullness of His might, while enjoying all He has provided for you to live this abundant life in Christ Jesus. Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, because God loves you and so do I~~~

Delayed Answers

Having fought pneumonia for the past couple weeks, I found myself getting impatient waiting for my healing to come and all my attempts to go and do and try to speed up my healing only made things worse and was actually prolonging my healing until I finally learned to relax and allow healing to be manifested in God's time and in His way. This got me to thinking how impatient we get waiting for an answer to our prayers, and how we even begin to plead and bargain for healing right now, instead of trusting God and knowing He is fully aware of our needs and is working all things for our good.
Maybe it's just me but have you ever wondered why answers to prayers are delayed and seem to take too long for God to answer? Ever thought the possibility was that God needed us to wait for our deliverance because the timing was not right because He had something coming our way that required us to be rested up and fully prepared for service?
God is so unique in all He does and His ways are certainly nothing like ours since all His actions are aimed at bringing glory and praise to God and not to mankind. We read throughout scripture how God is a jealous god who shares His praise with no one: not doctors, not medicated treatments, not therapy, not laying on of hands by a certain well known individual, not anyone; and since we are His creations, to Him rightfully belong all praise; or Does the creation dare to rob the Creator of His glory?
As individual creators over special things that become dear to us, we are very protective of what we created and won't allow anything to change or destroy our creation, whether it be our children, something we baked or cooked, or even a work of art we designed for a specific purpose. As parents over our children, we are quick to protect them from harms way. We set about nurturing them and making sure they have all they need to grow into well developed individuals. But if someone begins to change what we have created, we are quick to stop them and prevent them from spoiling our masterpiece; because That is our creation, not theirs!
As a potter molds and shapes their creation, even so, our lives are molded and shaped by God's own hands to be all He created us to be, and just as we don't want anyone changing our creation, neither does God want our predestined life to be changed from what He designed us to be, His very own workmanship, (Eph 2:10), predestined unto good works. It is His will and His plan, not ours; that should be guiding our life and when we pray for needs, we should remember that even Jesus prayed in the garden, "nevertheless not my will, but Thine be done." So instead of growing impatient with whatever has come our way, we need to do a self exam and see what mindset we have. Do we have the mind of Christ or are we the created telling the Creator what to do and how it should be done, instead of taking our needs to Him and trusting Him to answer that need in His time and in His way?
If we survey our responses when God delays an answer in the time-frame we feel He should, are we much like a spoiled child; wanting our way, in our time, and in the manner we prefer?... or are we trusting Him to answer in the time and manner necessary for our good? He wants us to trust Him in all our ways as Prov.3:5,6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths". He already knows what we have need of even before we ask, and watches over us to protect and provide those things necessary for an abundant life in Christ Jesus.
So, Why should we become disgruntled when cares of life are not met in the time frame or manner we think it should be? It's all in our relationship with our Creator, and knowing who we are in Him. It's in knowing that we are His handiwork, created in Christ Jesus, and there is nothing we can ever do or say that will separate us from His love(Rom 8:38,39). So as we learn to trust fully in His wisdom and guidance, we learn that it's in our weakness that He is made strong; and as we learn to walk in the pathway He has designed for our life; step by step, hand in hand with Jesus; we will receive all that is needed for an abundant life in Him. He wants only the very BEST for our life, not second best, but only THE BEST! "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."Jer.29:11
So let's learn to trust God when an answer to prayer is delayed and fully lean on Him and trust that He is working all things for our good as we wait upon the Lord to accomplish what is needed in our life for times like these. According to His timing He will do all that is needed within our life to bring us to that perfect state in Christ Jesus.... If we only believe and Fully Trust In Him!
Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, God loves you and so do I~~~

Inheritance That Can Never Perish

"My hope is built on nothing less Than Jesus' blood and righteousness, I dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean on Jesus' name. On Christ the solid Rock I stand, All other ground is sinking sand, All other ground is sinking sand." The lyrics to this old hymn came to mind as I was reading in I Peter 1:3-4 (NIV) "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!  In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you."
Did you get that? "......an inheritance that can NEVER PERISH, SPOIL OR FADE--kept in heaven for you".
We have been made joint heirs with Jesus Christ and our inheritance can never perish, never spoil, never fade; as it has been laid up for us and kept safely in Heaven! Our hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus Christ and righteousness(right standing with God through Jesus Christ). Not by our works so we could boast, but through the works of Jesus and our redemption thru Him that makes us righteous. He conquered all that was needed to pay our sin debt IN FULL; and having done all that was required, from the cross He cried out, "It Is Finished!" forever sealing our sin-debts as forgiven completely once we repent and accept Him as Lord and Savior. Nothing more needs to be done; Jesus conquered all that was needed for our salvation; fulfilling all that was needed for our redemption and inheritance into eternal life in Him.
We could never measure up to what would be worthy, that's why He came and gave His life as a lamb of God, pure and holy, as ransom for all who would believe upon Him and the works He has done. It is only through Jesus we can be redeemed through His Holy blood. No other name but the name of Jesus can wash our sins away; once and for all time;  past, present and future! Only in the name of Jesus can we stand redeemed, cleansed by the blood of the Lamb of God. What a beautiful life changing name, the name of Jesus!
If you are not sure of your salvation or if doubts have clogged your thinking, take a moment right now and ask Jesus into your heart. He is right there beside you waiting, with arms open wide, ready to accept you just the way you are. He loves you with an unconditional love like none other. If you once accepted Him and you feel He is no longer with you; then it had to be you that moved away, because He will never leave you nor forsake you, no matter what. So stop doubting, repent of your unbelief, and start your relationship again with Him. Place your hope on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ and enjoy a wonderfully blessed life, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~~~

Paying it Forward

Good morning, dear friends, I hope you slept well and woke feeling refreshed, ready and able for service to our Lord Jesus. Ya know, it never seems to amaze me, that as I read His Word, scriptures I've read many times in the past suddenly jump out at me, such as this morning's reading in 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 NIV "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God; For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows."
Did you hear that? God has given us comfort, made us comfort-able, so we can help others in ANY trouble with the comfort we obtained from Him. He doesn't just bring us comfort to rest in that comfort, but He gave us that comfort so we would be empowered to comfort others with that same comfort.
WOW! what an awesome Word! Paying it forward for the kingdom sake! Talk about a trickle down theory!
If we would all comfort others with the same overflowing comfort He has given us unconditionally; and just as we have been comforted, we pay it forward to others likewise; what a powerful explosion of God's grace would rock this universe! Countless needs would be met and lives would be changed, and after all, isn't this the great commission we were given from our Lord Jesus?.... to Share His love to one and all, unconditionally, for His glory sake! Just a thought..... If only!!!
Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, God loves you and so do I~~~
