Releasing Worries Into His Care

When will we truly realize that we are not God and that only He can change the impossible? Why do we keep worrying over situations we can't control? Why do we have to be reminded that only God can work things out best, because only He can see what is ahead. He alone is God and we are His children that He loves beyond measure! So why do we worry and allow that worry to steal our joy? Jesus said He came that we would have life and have it more abundantly(John 10:10), but when we allow our minds to worry over things we cannot change, we are living beneath our means and become unable to enjoy life as He had intended.
I use the Serenity Prayer in my daily prayer time: "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; enjoying one moment at a time; accepting hardships as the pathway to peace, as it is; not as I would have it; trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will; that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him forever in the next. Amen!"
This is our closing prayer following Celebrate Recovery meetings and it reminds us that having been reborn in Christ Jesus; recreated, delivered and restored from past hurts, bad habits and hang-ups; we have submitted to God's will and rely on His guidance in every day situations. I came to realize that Celebrate Recovery was not just for those who had problems with being addicted to drugs, alcohol, or bad habits, but this liberating program was also for people like myself who had difficulty recovering from loss and despair that had kept me from enjoying life due to circumstances beyond my control. We all need Hope and the Courage to surrender All our worries and hang-ups into God's hands so we can be Free, once and for all time, by releasing our worries into His care!
I realized that many of us face situations and devastating losses throughout life that leave us hiding behind masks to overshadow our hurts, to keep people from seeing our grief as we tend to hide our true feelings because we are bound by our past hurts and hang-ups. I thank the Lord Jesus that not only did He come to set us free from all our sins, but also to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives(bound), recovery of sight to the blind(helping us to see more clearly) and to free those who are oppressed(Luke 4:18-20). God wants us to be Totally Free in Him; not only from our sins, but from every hurt, every hang-up, every bad memory of physical or verbal abuse; free from any thing that keeps us from being Totally Free to live that life of abundance in Christ Jesus! God cares about every part of our life and Every Thing that keeps us from being Happy In Him and He eagerly waits for us to release them into His care!
So why do we worry when worry gets us no where; and casting our cares upon Jesus sets us free? He doesn't want us to stop worrying about the 'what if's, or the 'if I had of's, that so easily weigh us down with needless worries of life. He wants us to cast them off and fully trust in Him; in His will, His ways, and His timing. He wants us to release yesterday's events and enjoy today; to let by-gones be by-gones. We can't change what has been done, but we can learn by past mistakes and allow those mistakes, those stumbling stones to become stepping stones; taking us from one level of glory to another. As we learn to release hold of life's failures and begin to fully trust God, we allow Him to liberate every thing within us that has kept us bound and enjoy the BEST life possible. He wants us to enjoy this life He has given us, one day at a time, freely dependent on Him!
So as you go about your day, I pray you choose to release your worries into His care and allow Him to handle them in His way so You can live that abundant life free from every thing that would otherwise try to bind you in any way! Remember that "He whom the Son sets free is free indeed!"(John 8:36)
Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~~~

Preparing For Spiritual Warfare- The Fight Is On

It past time we begin preparing for Spiritual Warfare and declare, "the fight is on" ; Time to take a stand against the evil schemes coming against our families and against our country. It's time we become Spiritual Prayer Warriors, fully armed and ready for battle because the fight is on to save our families and all those we cherish and adore. It's time we use the power given us through the authority of Jesus Christ and boldly proclaim that, "Greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world" as we fight the good fight of faith. God gave us all we need to be victorious in our fight against satan with weapons described in Ephesians 6:10-18.
As followers of Christ, I encourage you to take up the armor of God and begin using it as you pray for your loved ones and our younger generation as they need our help to become over comers in this life. Look for ways to help and encourage them in their spiritual walk; by teaching and leading them by example to be godly prayer warriors for their families and all they hold dear. Children learn best by example, so we must be mindful to instruct them, to encourage them, to pray over them, and to oversee their young walk in the Lord; so they will acquire the wisdom to grow in the Lord and then to train their little ones along the chain of life. We must encourage them to use God's power within to fight evil with good, not evil for evil; so they won't be led astray by vain philosophies and so called legalized abandonment of God's Word. We must teach them the power of prayer comes with being fully clothed with the whole armor of God as we continue to encourage them in the faith and become more than conquerors and victorious in all their ways. We cannot afford to be caught unprepared and unarmed for spiritual attacks.
As I was studying in Ephesian 6:10-18 I see Paul teaching, Finally, Be STRONG in the Lord (be empowered through your union with Him) and in the strength of His might (His power is boundless, He has limitless supply). Put on the Full Armour of God(be heavily armed with all God supplies) so you will be able to stand against the wiles(schemes, tricks, strategies, deceptions)of the devil; For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places(rulers, organizations, authorities); Therefore, TAKE UP the full Armor of God, so you can stand(resist) in the evil day, and having done all (everything God has told us to do), to stand (to Stand firmly in place- to Hold your ground).
Stand firmly in place, having girded your loins with TRUTH,(tightened your BELT of Truth which is God's Word) and having put on the BREASTPLATE of RIGHTEOUSNESS (knowing who we are and Whose we are as God's children, redeemed and made righteous, in Right Standing with Him through Jesus Christ); and having Shod your Feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace (purposely prepared with the Gospel of Peace to face the enemy with a firm-footed stability, prompt and ready; Unshakable, Unmovable, secure in His Peace); and Above all, taking up the Shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench(to extinguish) all the fiery darts of the wicked( lifting up over all the covering shield of saving faith, upon which you believe);
And take the HELMET OF SALVATION and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the Word of God:(Helmets are placed upon the head to protect the most vital organ in the body: brain injuries affect the way we react, how we move, how we think, how we speak, and how we swallow; Left unprotected, the mind becomes the devil's playground; Our thoughts become words, Words become actions, Actions become habits, Habits become Character, and Our Character determines who we are; So we must guard our mind with all diligence, and keep it renewed daily with knowledge and wisdom that comes from the Word of God, which is The Sword of the Spirit). The Word equips us with knowledge on how and when to use our weapons most effectively. Just as the Sword is used with skill and exact precision to vital areas of a body in wartime, the Word is used to carefully and precisely affect every deception satan brings our way; Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching with all perseverance and supplication(pleading humbly and earnestly striving) for all the saints.
He teaches us to be alert and watch out for those fiery darts and deceptive forces that come against our homes and those that are new in the faith walk. We must begin a vigilant prayer life for all those battling the good fight of faith and anyone we can reach and help save from destruction!  Don't be deceived and think this doesn't involve you. This fight concerns every individual on the face of this earth and it's a fight for life! I pray that each of you begin daily to arm yourselves with the Whole Armor of God and become Spiritual Prayer Warriors for all those you hold dear. Be wise and not deceived- Although our enemy can't be seen, he is still real and runs throughout the world deceiving those who don't arm themselves with the Word and become open prey for him to maim, to devour, and destroy. It's time we wake up, be alert, and realize who our true enemy is and declare in Jesus' name, being covered with the Whole Armor of God, that The fight is On!!!
Enjoy a wonderfully blessed and victorious week in the Lord because God loves you and so do I~~~

Praise With A Grateful Heart

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."(Psalm 119:105). How I delight in the Lord as I realize that no matter where I go, He is with me no matter what comes my way; and whatever I choose to speak He knows my words already; for I am truly fearfully and wonderfully made as David declares in Psalm 130:1-18,
"You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know me when I sit and when I rise; You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; You are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue, You Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and You lay Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to heavens, You are there; If I make my bed in the depths, You are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea. even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me" even the darkness will not be dark to You; the night will shine like the day for darkness is as light to You. For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb.
I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I were to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand; when I awake I am still with You!"
I am eternally grateful for God's faithfulness in covering me with His Amazing Grace and Divine Love. I know beyond a shadow of doubt that there is nothing too great for Him to do in my life and I praise You Lord, for your forgiveness of all my sins and that You wait with open arms to cuddle me up, reassuring me, when I am unsure where to go or what to do next! You are always there waiting for me and I am so blissfully thankful to know that I am in You, Lord, and You are in me, forevermore!
May God be close to you too, dear friend, as you surrender to His Love and I pray you enjoy a wonderfully blessed weekend, because God loves you and so do I~~~

Under The Shelter Of Almighty God

What peace to know God watches over us day and night to protect us in All Our Ways as we trust in Him. I became overwhelmed this morning as I read in Psalm 91 of God's wondrous protection and great love so I want to share it with you today from the New Living Translation. I ask that you also read this passage sometime soon and allow it to really sink into the very depths of your soul.
"Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him. For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished."
"If you make the Lord your refuge; if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For He will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet! The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” (Psalm 91).
Praise The Lord! Such a powerful passage of protection and promise for our Father God! There is so much promise all through God's precious Word and as we read and learn, It becomes alive within us; making us more than conquerors through Christ
Jesus, as sons and daughters of the Most High God. Knowing He is with us in every situation day or night and dispenses His angels to watch over those who put their trust in Him brings a peace beyond all measure. He loves us, His children, and desires to give us good things and His standard of good is far above anything we can ever imagine! No greater joy, no greater peace, no greater assurance can be found than under the shelter of Almighty God.
He continually gives each of us a new day with fresh mercies and He eagerly awaits our invitation to walk along side us and guide us in all our ways. It is In Christ that we can do ALL things, if we only believe when we ask and rest under the shadow of His wings. May you feel the peace of God's love and protection and enjoy a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~~~

Enjoying The Now In Due Season

So many events surround us in our world today; some good, some bad, some we just don't understand, and yet we are given this season in time to enjoy the Now because this very moment will never come again. Jesus encouraged us throughout His ministry on earth to live in now and not to worry about yesterday that is already past, nor tomorrow that may never come. He encourages us to live in the Now, to enjoy this very moment now, because no matter what we may go through, God already knows about it and will give peace beyond measure, even in the midst of our storm, as we place our trust in Him. Life is a journey filled with seasons forever changing so we must learn to live in the now with His unshakable peace.
In Christ Jesus and Him alone, we can experience unshakable peace and declare as David did in Psalm 16:8,“I will not be shaken!” God knows all there is to know about us and He knows what we are going through right now and promises peace to the believer in Christ Jesus. But that Peace can be difficult to obtain in our natural realm, mainly because our unsettled nature tries to cling to what He gives to bless our lives; so when the due season comes that we must part, we fight to hold on to what we think is rightfully ours. Our natural thinking makes it difficult to grasp hold of the reality that every thing on this earth was created by and for Almighty God and His purposes, and that every thing created has its due season. In our natural mindset we cannot understand that our families, our cherished loved ones, and all we have acquired are not ours, but God's! They are only loaned to us for a season.
We are reminded of this as Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 declares: "To every thing there is a season; a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck what is planted; a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to break down and a time to build up; a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to gain and a time to lose; a time to keep and a time to throw away; a time to tear and a time to sew; a time to keep silence and a time to speak; a time to love and a time to hate; a time to war and a time of peace."
So as the circle of life goes on, we will behold seasons come and go and while some are easily adaptable, others take more effort to get beyond. As we naturally become attached to our families the loss of a loved one brings about unbearable grief that can rob us of our joy and peace. God promises to be there to carry us through those seasons and breathe sweet peace into our soul as we realize they  were only loaned to us for a season and were called back home with Father God until that due season when we meet again never more to part.
We are encouraged time and time again throughout God's Word to not put our trust in temporal things that will fade away, but to lay up our treasures in spiritual  things that never fade away. There is an old saying that goes, "Only one life, 'twill soon be past; only what's done for Christ will last" and this should be our mindset. Having our minds set on things above(Colossians 3:2), we are no longer
consumed by cares of this world that bring about fears, anxiety, greed, and insecurities; but in Christ Jesus our minds are saturated with the peace of God that empowers us to spread Hope in the here and Now.
As we acknowledge the Lord daily and trust Him to guide us in every situation
as Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages; we find the key to enjoying the Now in due season. God has a plan for each of our lives as noted in Jeremiah 29:11,"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for good and not for evil, plans to give you hope and a future." Our hesitancy to submit to God's will often causes
delays in what should be a due season, profitable for our well being. And since He wants only the Best for us, His children, learning to Hear His voice, submitting to His will, and trusting Him despite our natural thinking, is a must to enjoy the Now in our due seasons of life.
I pray that Now the peace of God be with you all, and in you all, as you put your trust in Him, Amen! Enjoy a wonderfully blessed season in your life because God loves you and so do I~~~

Seeking God's Heart

My heart is overwhelmed at the awesomeness of our Heavenly Father and His Faithfulness to watch over and protect us in all our ways. No matter the situation, no matter the time of day or night, no matter where we are located at the time of trouble, He is there to protect, to comfort, and to guide us in all our ways! How awesome is our God!
In Psalm 139:1-18 David proclaims, "You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise: you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue, you Lord know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there. If I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn: If I settle on the far side of the sea; even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me," even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day for darkness is as light to you.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth; Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand; When I awake I am still with you!"
Although David was not a perfect man, sinning mightily to have another man's wife, God still had a plan for David's life; and when David finally began acknowledging the Lord God and seeking guidance from the God of all creation, God called him "a man after God's Own Heart." This title is not reserved just for David; but each one of us who fully trust and acknowledge the Lord and seek Him with all our heart will be known as men and women after God's own heart as noted in Jeremiah
29:13. Just as David found that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God(Romans 3:23), but through repentance and the tender mercies of our Lord we are made the righteous of God, having been redeemed by the precious 'life-giving' blood of Christ Jesus!.
What an honor it is to serve a living God who never sleeps or slumbers; who watches over us day and night in all our ways; who knows our thoughts and motives; who walks beside us and directs our footsteps; who guards our conversation, who comforts us when we're weary; and who still loves us unconditionally forevermore! What an amazing Father who loves us beyond measure!
I pray that as you seek the Lord and come to know Who He Is, that you too can be known as 'men and women after God's own heart' as well!  Enjoy a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends; God loves you and so do I~~~

Refuse To Settle For Less Than His Best

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto thine own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path." Proverbs 3:5,6. Learning to trust God in all our ways is definitely not easy; but remains the key to life as we know it in our world today. It takes practice, a whole lot of practice and it is obtained after years of trial and error.
When we refuse to settle for less than His Best, we begin to feel an unshakable peace rising up from the depths of our soul and we feel the boldness to proclaim, "I refuse to be shaken! I will not be moved! God's Word is True and It Cannot Lie! I know God is for me and He is working within me and has me covered in the palm of His hands and there is nothing I will face today that He will not be with me strengthening me with His wisdom and power to overcome!"
It's this determination that springs forth as we wait upon the Lord and we feel a song rising from deep within proclaiming; "Our God who reigns forever; Our Hope, Our Strong Deliverer" and our hearts sing forth; "You are the Everlasting God, The Everlasting God; You do not faint you won't grow weary; You're the Defender of the weak, You comfort those in need; You lift us up on wings like Eagles!" What an amazing Peace engulfs us as we acknowledge Jesus as Lord, as Savior, as Deliverer; All that we ever need He Is.
There is nothing worth more that could ever come close, No thing can compare, He's our Living Hope! Your presence Lord! Holy Spirit You are welcome here, Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere, Your glory God is what my heart longs for, To be overcome by Your presence Lord." And the words to these lyrics rise within us; becoming personal, becoming real, becoming life sustaining as Holy Spirit empowers from within without, and we are overcome by His presence. I in Him and He in me, together forever, through all eternity! It's not about me! It's not about you! It's not about what others think-or say- but it's all about Him, Jesus! What truly matters is what "Thus Says The Lord!" as we refuse to settle for less than His best and we purpose to hear Him as He directs our steps!
I pray you enjoy this wonderfully blessed day He has created just for you and me simply because He loves you and so do I~~

Chosen and Hand Picked

Chosen: What a precious thing to be chosen; not by accident or by circumstance, but to be specially hand picked and chosen to be that 'special someone' in life. Thinking back over this week and how we demonstrated our love to that 'chosen someone' who fills that special place deep within our hearts, made me think of how awesome it is to know we are also a 'chosen someone' to our Heavenly Father.
Chosen in God before the creation of the world to be His children; sons and daughters by adoption into the family of God through the redemption of Jesus' blood covering all our sins; making us holy and blameless in God's sight. Through Christ Jesus, we are made joint-heirs and having our eyes enlightened and minds renewed with wisdom and understanding, He makes known to us the mysteries of His will according to His good pleasure, for times like these.
God is certainly doing a new thing in our world and as times reach their fulfillment, the glory of God is being revealed and realized more now than ever before. As His chosen children, our differences are put aside as we purpose to show love one to another in truth and sincerity, bringing unity to all things in Heaven and on earth; and therefore bringing glory and honor to the holy name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
So whenever you begin to feel discouraged and stressed, just lift up your head and look toward the heavens and allow the reality of Who has chosen you to be His child and feel the love of God begin to fill your heart and soul. You have been Chosen by the most High God, Who loves you beyond measure; loves you unconditionally; loves you enough to give you His very best; and Who works diligently to make all things work together for your good. You are not an accident! You are His Child and He loves you beyond measure!
In all things, you can trust God! Take time to get to know Him and allow His Love to saturate your soul. He loves you like none other! You are His Chosen! Called out of darkness into His marvelous Light to enjoy a wonderfully blessed life. God loves you and so do I~~~

You Are Loved Just As You Are

Just wanted to share a little ray of Son-shine with you today regarding who you really are! Something about rainy days that seem to get people down and right now many are going through some really tough situations in their lives. Many of you may feel you failed in your roles as students, teachers, pastors, wives, husbands, mothers and fathers; but I encourage you to stop where you are and take a slow deep breath, relax, and realize that God has this all in His control. You are not a failure and by placing it all in God's hands, everything will work out for the good of all!
God only expects you to be YOU; Nothing more! He created you to be exactly who you are right now, the apple of His eye! YOU are His rare and precious jewel in His crown that adorns His kingdom. He created you to be His child and He loves you just the way you are! So stop allowing others to describe who you are and what you have to be and begin to know your Creator so you can enjoy His promised abundant life to the fullest! God loves you more than words can describe. He loves you unconditionally and desires to shower you with blessings untold and He wants to love on you with His kindness!
There is nothing in this world you have ever done or will ever do to stop God from loving you. So when negative thoughts come to your mind, remember Whose you are. Remember that you are a creation filled with Immense Power as Holy Spirit abides within; and that you were created in the very image of God. Remind yourself that it is the Father's will to give you an abundant life in Christ Jesus filled with hope and prosperity, of gentleness and love, of peace and harmony, and that your Father desires to shower you daily with fresh mercies and fill you with grace beyond measure!
As you think on these things, I pray you can smile as your despair is replaced with a new hope in Christ Jesus; knowing that You can do all things through Christ which strengthens you. Life is good when God is in it and when you can be who you are, just as you are, and realize that the very God who created this universe loves you just the way you are and so do I~~~

Reflecting on Valentine's Day

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, EVERYONE! Love is in the air and Valentine's Day is upon us. A time to reflect on those dear to our hearts and celebrate the love we feel towards our special someones. Love knows no reason, no boundaries, no distance; and True Love brings people together to a time called forever! Love is that emotional feeling guarded deep within the depths of our soul that holds precious memories of special moments frozen in time with that loved one and no one can ever steal it away! .
Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a NIV, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails......"
As you begin to celebrate this special day of love, I pray you will first remember to honor our Heavenly Father who graciously gave His Love beyond measure. As Jesus taught in John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this; than to lay down his life for His friends." God's love was displayed in the highest degree when Jesus willingly gave His life for you and me and all who would believe and receive His great gift of Salvation! There are no words to describe it and no way we can ever fathom His unconditional Love!
But this beloved song comes as close as possible as it declares, "The Love of God is greater far, than tongue or pen could ever tell; It goes beyond the highest star and reaches to the lowest hell. The guilty pair bowed down with care, God sent His son to win; His erring child, He reconciled and pardoned from their sin. Oh Love of God how rich and pure, how measureless and strong, It shall forevermore endure, the saints and angels song."
On this Valentine's Day set aside to honor those we love so dearly, I pray you take time to cherish each moment and enjoy the blessing of having your beloved sweetheart close beside you; and if they are no longer here, I pray those loving moments you shared will warm your heart and bring a smile and precious memories as you think of them today. Enjoy a wonderfully blessed day because God loves you and so do I~~~'

Blessings Pour Down As His Name is Glorified

This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Even as the rains fall down from the heavens, blessings pour down as His name is glorified; so let us lift our voices and rejoice in the Lord as He has given us another new day filled with fresh mercies and is faithfully watching over us who magnify His Holy Name! Let the Praises ring out; let our souls magnify the King of kings and Lord of Lords! Our Lord God who has done great and marvelous things; and granted Blessings beyond measure!
"Because of who You are I give You glory; Because of who You are I give you praise; Because of who You are I will lift my voice and say, "Lord, I worship You because of who You are." I worship You because of who You are. Jehovah Jirehmy Provider; Jehovah Nissi, Lord, You reign in victory; Jehovah Shaalom, my Prince of Peace; And I worship You because of who You are! Lord I worship You because of who You are!"
Oh taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him. Give thanks unto the Lord for He is good; for His mercy endures forever. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and they are safe. The Lord declares unto us, "Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you; yes I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."(Isaiah 41:10)
Today holds a wonderful opportunity to sing forth His praises; to uphold the life changing name of Jesus and see His marvelous works performed in lives of those who choose to believe and receive Him in His glory. Each morning brings forth new mercies with old things passed away and all things new. We cannot change what was done yesterday; but we can learn from things left undone or mistakes made; and this day allows golden opportunities to start afresh with praises pouring forth from the depths of our soul as we choose to speak forth life and blessings into those we encounter along our way.
May we forever lift up the name of Jesus and be all He empowers us to be in each new day He gives; and may each of you enjoy a wonderfully blessed day because God loves you and so do I~~~

Under His Wings

Psalms 91 (KJV) "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.....
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet;
"Because He hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because He hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation."
Dear friends, we may be confronted with things of this world that cause us to take a step back and be concerned, but Holy Spirit reminds us that God is forever faithful and watches over His Word to perform it quickly; it never returns to Him void. Safely under the wings of the Almighty assures our peace and resting place; so today, whatever may cause you to worry or be uneasy, allow Holy Spirit to comfort you and build you up knowing that GOD already has this in the palms of His hands. Be blessed, dear friends! God loves you and so do I~~~

Out Of Darkness Into Light

"Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me; I once was lost but now I'm found, was lost but now I'm found. Twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed. My chains are gone, I've been set free; my God, my Savior has ransomed me; and like a flood His mercy reigns; Unending Love, Amazing Grace.
The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my shield and portion be, as long as life endures. The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, the sun forbear to shine; But God, Who called me here below, will be forever mine. My chains are gone, I've been set free; my God, my Savior, has ransomed me; and like a flood His mercy reigns; Unending Love, Amazing Grace."
Chains broken, sins forgiven, former sins forgotten, Called out of darkness into His Light; all by the Grace of a Loving God, a Wonderful Savior. I Peter 2:9 declares, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession; that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light."
It is our Father's will that we walk not in darkness but as children of Light; reflecting His Love throughout the world. His Light shines in the darkness and only those who choose not to comprehend it are left in darkness (John 3:19). As His Gospel filled with Hope is shared, Light springs forth into the very hearts of men and women who accept Him and the world is made so much brighter simply because of the Light that shines within our hearts. For tho we were once darkness, we are now light in the Lord, so let us walk in the Light as noted in (Ephesians 5:8).
Day by day, moment by moment, we are being made more and more like Christ, Who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. Called to walk and talk with Him in a new and God-glorifying way so others can see the light and hope that is within us, through Christ Jesus!(Matthew 5:16). This newness in Him that has broken loose the chains that once bound us and kept us in darkness.
Now that we have been called out of darkness, let us strive to walk in His Light to the very best of our ability so others seeing His good work within us, will believe and glorify our Father which is in Heaven. I pray you have a wonderfully blessed week knowing that God loves you and so do I~~~

Remolded By The Potter

"Beautiful Lord, Wonderful Savior; I know for sure all of my days are held in Your hands; Crafted into Your perfect plan; You gently call me into Your presence, Guiding me by Your Holy Spirit; Teach me dear Lord, To live all of my life through Your eyes; I'm captured by Your Holy calling, Set me apart, I know You're drawing me to Yourself; Lead me Lord I pray; Take me, Mold me, Use me, Fill me; I give my life to the Potter's hands; Hold me, Guide me, Lead me, Walk beside me; I give my life to the Potter's hand."
This beautiful song reminds us that our Creator, the Potter, waits to mold us into a vessel of honor as we surrender our will into His hands.
Life is so short and the more I come to realize how fragile life is, I choose to walk according to the Potter's design for my life. No one is guaranteed tomorrow or even the next second, and no one knows the day or hour we will be called home. Our time on earth is designated by the God of all Creation who longs to mold us into His perfect plan for our life. Only He knows our length of days so I find my desire deepening to be that light shining brightly in the darkness so others can see the way out; to share hope to those who are hopeless; and to be an encourager to those who need to be inspired along the way in all I do and all I say. I never want to cause someone to stumble just because I don't agree with their behavior or look. God did not send Jesus into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved(John 3:17). So who are we to judge or to condemn others along our way when we can be drawing them in to the Potter's hands by our witness of His Amazing Grace?
If we are to be His followers and witnesses of His forgiveness, we will encourage others instead of judging and love others instead of condemning, no matter who they may be or what they have done. We are to be God's arms extended that wrap around the hurting and give those warm reassuring hugs; to be His hands needed to reach down to the fallen and help them up; to be His warm smile that assures others it will be okay; and to share the hope given from our Savior to those who are hopeless. We must let others know there is Hope; and that Hope is in Christ Jesus! But how will they know unless we share it?
So today I urge you to search your hearts and become more aware of those around you. Do they know Jesus? Are they in need of encouragement? Are they reaching out to you for Hope? And last but not least, are you sharing the Hope in Christ Jesus with others you meet along your way? Nothing is more important than saving a soul from hell; and nothing is more important than those few minutes you share in caring along your way. May we all have our eyes opened and our hearts receptive to the leading of Holy Spirit as the Potter remolds us into a life reflecting Jesus in every way as not to stumble others.
As you think on these things, I pray you have a wonderfully blessed day knowing that God loves you and so do I~~~
