Whole Armour of God

Sharing the message from last night's TMC Sisterhood Connection for all those who were not able to come, Be Blessed!
I feel the need to encourage each of you to begin a prayer life like you've never known before. A prayer life where lives are changed and strength regained as Holy Spirit empowers from within. As we engage daily struggles within our homes, our jobs, our communities, our country and all around, we can clearly see we are no longer fighting against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Over the past few decades we've watched prayer ruled out or replaced in school events and the Word of God distorted in efforts to legalize worldly lusts. We continue to watch our sons and daughters defend our country and yet how is their dignity upheld as they return to their home land maimed and wounded as people remain in high places, who've used their authority to pass laws violating America's moral standards upon which it was founded. 
It's time we take a stand against the evil schemes coming against our families and against our country. It's time we become Spiritual Prayer Warriors, fully armed and ready for battle because the fight is on to save our families and all we love. It's time we realize the power given us through the authority of Jesus Christ and grab hold of the fact that "Greater is He that is within us than he that is in the world" as we fight the good fight of faith in defense of all we love. God gave us all we would ever need to fight against satan and come out victorious but we must be prepared and arm ourselves with ALL the weapons He has given us as described in Eph 6:10-18. 
As Sisters in Christ, I encourage each of you to begin praying for our younger women. Look for ways to help and encourage them in their spiritual walk; by teaching and leading them by example to be godly prayer warriors for their families and all they hold dear. Children learn best by example, so we elderly women must be on watch over our younger women to instruct them, to encourage them, to pray over them, and to oversee their young walk in the Lord, so they will obtain the wisdom to train their little ones, and so on down the chain of life. We must encourage them to use God's power within to fight evil with good, not evil for evil; so they won't be led astray by vain philosophies and so called legalized abandonment of God's Word. We must teach our young women the power of prayer and the need to become fully clothed with the whole armour of God as we continue to encourage them in the faith, making them more than conquerors and victorious in all their ways.
Let's break down the Armour of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-18 so we can fully understand why it is so necessary to put on the WHOLE Armour of God and not just a part of it. We, nor those we love and care about, can afford to be caught unprepared and unarmed for these spiritual attacks. 
Ephesians 6:10 tells us, "Finally, Be STRONG in the Lord(be empowered through your union with Him) and in the strength of His might(His power is boundless, He has limitless supply)
v. 11 Put on the Full Armour of God(be heavily armed with all God supplies) so you will be able to stand against the wiles(schemes, tricks, strategies, deceptions)of the devil
v. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places(rulers, organizations, authorities)
v.13 Therefore, TAKE UP the full Armor of God, so you can stand(resist) in the evil day, and having done all( everything God has told us to do), to stand. (Stand firmly in place- Hold your ground)
v. 14 Stand firmly in place, having girded your loins with TRUTH,(tightened your BELT of Truth which is God's Word)and fully encircled with the TRUTH(having the Word of God planted deep within us, readily available when prompted to guard and defend against evil attacks that try to come our way); and having put on the BREASTPLATE of RIGHTEOUSNESS(knowing who we are and Whose we are: as parents, our chest swells with pride when we show off or talk about our children and God wants us to know that He adores us, His children, redeemed and made righteous, in Right Standing with Him through Jesus and that He is quick to defend His child from harms way)
v.15 and having Shod your Feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace(purposely prepared with the Gospel of Peace to face the enemy with a firm-footed stability, prompt and ready, Unshakable, Unmovable, secure in His Peace)
v.16 Above all, taking up the Shield of Faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench(to extinguish) all the fiery darts of the wicked( lifting up over all the covering shield of saving faith, upon which you believe)
v.17 and take the HELMET OF SALVATION, and the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, which is the Word of God:(Helmets are placed upon the head to protect the most vital organ in the body:brain injuries affect the way we react, how we move, how we think, how we speak, and how we swallow; Left unprotected, the mind becomes the devil's playground. Our thoughts become words, Words become actions, Actions become habits, Habits become Character, and Our Character makes us who we are and ultimately affects our outcome; so we must guard our mind with all diligence, and keep it renewed daily with knowledge and wisdom that comes from the Word of God, which is The Sword of the Spirit). The Word equips us with knowledge on how and when to use our weapons most effectively. Jesus gave us three examples as He wielded the Word against satan's deceptive attacks in the wilderness. It is vital that we know the Word and keep it fresh within our minds, so it is quickly and readily available to use when needed. Just as the Sword is used with skill and exact precision to vital areas of a body, the Word is used to carefully and precisely affect every situation and deception satan brings our way. 
v.18 Praying always, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching(be Alert) with all perseverance(don't ever give up) and supplication(pleading humbly, earnestly) for all the saints;(as we Watch and Earnestly Pray and allow Holy Spirit to work through us continuously we will see breakthroughs in situations as God's will is accomplished. I encourage each one of you to wear your armour of God at all times. Be alert! Sharpen your vision so you can readily identify the immediate battlefield and what's going on. Ask Holy Spirit to show you the full truth so you will know how to engage the battle at hand and allow Him to pray for you when you don't know what to pray for as needed.)
As a sisterhood, we are our sisters' keepers, so we must be alert and watch for those fiery darts and deceptive forces that may come against our younger women, those new in the faith walk, those dear to us, and all those God lays upon our hearts to intercede on their behalf. We must begin a vigilant prayer life for all those battling the good fight of faith and anyone we can reach out and help save from destruction! Don't be deceived and think this doesn't involve you. This affects everyone that has breath in their body. As Christians(true followers of Jesus Christ) we are our sisters' keepers and together we can become a Mighty Sisterhood fighting down on our knees to overcome evil with good, and arising victoriously with the Lord on our side; but the time to start is Now; Not tomorrow- or the next day, but NOW! 
So my question is: Who is on the Lord's side? Who is ready to armour up and become a Spiritual Prayer Warrior for Jesus Christ in His army of believers? The fight is On!!! and this is a fight for life! I pray each of you will think on these things and become Spiritual Prayer Warriors for our sisterhood, and for all those you hold dear. The fight is On!!!

The Heavenly Flow

"There is a river, that flows from deep within; There is a fountain, that frees the soul from sin; Come to these waters, there is a vast supply;
There is a river, that never shall run dry." This Heavenly flow from God above is free to all who will receive, if only you believe on Jesus and allow Him to wash away all your sins, all your hurts, all your guilt and bring you freedom from every chain, every oppression, and everything that would otherwise try to keep you bound. You can find the Freedom you desire just by calling on Jesus!
The precious life-altering blood of Jesus flows freely from the throne of God and brings such freedom and deliverance that it makes ya wanna shout, makes ya wanna dance, makes ya wanna tell the world about this Jesus who takes bad things brought upon us and turns them around for our good!
No matter how bad you think you are; no matter what terrible sins you have committed; no matter how far down in the gutter you feel you are; JESUS is ALL you need. The name above all names; Jesus waits eagerly for you to accept Him and allow Him to make whatever changes may be needed in your life. We cannot make these changes on our own; but He can and He will as we learn to place our trust in Him and surrender to His will in our lives. He is ALL we will ever need.
He completes that unfilled desire deep down in our soul. He fills the void when everyone else is gone. He takes the old man and recreates us into a new creation filled with His love, His joy, His peace; and He delivers a freedom, like no one else or anything else can ever do. That's JESUS! And He's as close as the whisper of His name.
He longs to be your God. He longs to walks beside you through this life in both good times and bad. He longs to abide deep within you and fill you with comfort and peace as only He does best. He longs to guide you through whatever you may face today, if only you call upon His precious name; that wonderful name of JESUS!
Today is a new day filled with fresh mercies and golden opportunities to be all we can be for His kingdom sake. I pray you call upon His wondrous name and have a wonderfully blessed day, because God loves you and so do I~~

Change your thinking-what do you believe?

"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you." Phil 4:8,9 NKJV. Whatever is true, good, just, pure, lovely, of good reports- not bad, whatever is "praise worthy"… think on these things… And the God of Peace will be with you.
Set your mind on things above, not on what you see or hear with your natural eyes and ears. Hear what God says about you; not man! Set before you undeniable truths from JESUS, and allow Him
to fill you with the reality that in Him, YOU are a brand new creation: the Redeemed of the Lord, Blessed and Highly Favored. There is no low regard in you, 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us,"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."
"I pray that out of His glorious riches, He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God" Eph 3:16-19 NIV. So today, be anxious for nothing, but "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."1 Pet 5:7, NIV
I pray these truths will flood your heart with peace like they do mine. Peace that gives you hope and brings to life the reality God has for your life as He declares in Jer. 29:11, "I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." He loves you beyond measure and unconditionally, so relax and breathe in His Love, and enjoy a wonderfully blessed day simply because God loves you and so do I~~~

Awakening

"Oh, the glory of Your presence, we Your temple give You reverence; Come and rise from Your rest, and be blessed by our praise; As we glory in Your embrace; As Your presence Now fills this place." Psalm 65:8,"The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy."
As the dawn approaches and a new day arises, may the words of our mouth and the meditation upon our hearts, be filled with the wonders of our Lord's Love. May our minds be consecrated upon Him, our hearts be filled with His divine Love, the words of our mouth magnify His holy name, and may the works of our hands bring forth glory unto our Lord of lords, King of all kings, God of all creation; as we lift Him high in all things great and small, for He is worthy of all praise, all glory, and all honor, in Jesus' name.
Don't let this day pass you by without being all you can be for His kingdom sake. Enjoy each moment He has given, make time to bask in His undying love; take time to smell the roses; enjoy the finest details of all He has created just for your enjoyment. Find joy in breathing in His goodness; smell the sweet smelling fragrance of His breath as it covers the earth.
As you walk out to your car, take a look around you at this great land He has created just for your enjoyment; then look up to the heavens from whence cometh your strength and acknowledge the Lord our God, Creator of all the heavens and the earth; and begin to delight in His ways as you enjoy this day He has made just for you and be blessed, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~~~

Unanswered Prayers

IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF GOD'S AMAZING GRACE!!! All we will ever need and ever hope to be is all wrapped up in His amazing grace! There will never be a need He doesn't see, or a prayer He doesn't hear; He is forever faithful and forever near to those who trust in Him and call upon that Holy Name, Jesus! 
Jesus opened the door to Heavenly blessings freely dispersed from your Father's hands so you and I could enter into a realm of peace far above anything we could ever imagine; Far above the elements this world will ever have to offer. His ways are surely not like ours; His timing is surely not according to ours; but His Word is Forever True and what He says He will do, shall be done in the time that is perfectly aligned to His perfect design for our life.
He wants ONLY the Best for you and I and although we may feel He isn't listening or He's not answering; sometimes those precious 'unanswered prayers' as we term it, are not unanswered at all, but answered in a different way than we asked; simply because He sees the entire picture, not just what's in front of us; and He knows what is the best for our good. Oftentimes unanswered prayers are His arms wrapped securely around us preventing us from entering utter chaos and a battle too great for us to bear at that moment.
So today, listen to His still small voice deep within your heart of hearts and allow Him to guide your way for a perfect day, created just for you, from your Heavenly Father, with the greatest of love for His little child. He loves you unconditionally and beyond measure and desires to guide and protect you along your way, if only you allow Him to; as you listen and follow His voice closely.

Overcoming Victoriously

Trusting God in every aspect of life strengthens us to become more than conquerors as He instills within the ability to walk through storms of life as victors, with Him by our side. We are made overcomers as we survive the many trials we encounter and make messes throughout our lives and no one is exempt. Everyone has trials, everyone has mess-ups, and everyone makes mistakes. But without a test, there is no testimony; and without a mess there is no message. The amazing outcome of it all is that we now have a testimony we can share with others to build their faith and we have a message to share that delivers hope that since we came through it they will too!
I'm reminded of a song which holds these truths that in the name of Jesus, whatsoever we bind on earth will be bound in Heaven as we win every battle with the Lord by our side. It goes: "We've got the power in the name of Jesus; we've got the power in the name of Lord; Tho' satan rages, we cannot be defeated; we've got the power in the name of the Lord. Come take my hand, let's agree together; that all our enemies will crumble at our feet; For whatever we bind on earth will be bound in Heaven; and at the name of Jesus, satan has to flee. We've got the power in the name of Jesus, We've got the power in the name of the Lord; Tho satan rages, we cannot be defeated; we've got the power in the name of the Lord. For many years now, satan's tried to stop us, but the church of Jesus is still alive; Like a mighty army, we keep marching onward; Winning every battle with the Lord by our side. We've got the power in the name of Jesus, We've got the power in the name of the Lord; Tho satan rages, we cannot be defeated; we've got the power in the name of the Lord."
Learning the power we are given in the name of Jesus brings a security in knowing that with each trial, with each storm, with each battle we encounter in life; we will become stronger and win victoriously, if we hold to His unchanging hand.  As He raises us up, time and time again; we eventually become strong enough to put things behind us that would have otherwise taken us under. As He raises us up, we can walk on those stormy seas, knowing He walks beside us.  As we trust more and more in His ability within us, we become more than we could ever dare to be. We become Strong! We become Overcomers! We become Victorious! As Sons and Daughters of the Most High God through Christ Jesus, We Become!!!  No matter what your storm of life may be; know that God is with you, and will walk beside you, if only you ask. He longs to raise you up to be more than you could ever dare to be!

Broken, But Restored

As the Potter, our Heavenly Father molded and created us in Him before we were born. But as life would have it, things often come along to lead us down the wrong pathway and often we don't even realize it until we find our self Broken. We find that our life has been shattered in pieces and no matter how hard we try, we can't seem to put those pieces back together and be whole again. Desperation overcomes us and we acquire a sense of hopelessness... Broken from pain, broken from grief, broken from abuse, broken from neglect, broken from lack; broken from feelings of torment, broken from loss of self worth. Broken inside... with no hope of ever being whole again. We are overcome by our brokenness, feeling so alone... But GOD!!!
It's in our brokenness that God, the Potter, who created us from our mother's womb, can reshape us into His vessel of honor! Our brokenness allows God to take all those broken pieces and mold us into Children of the Most High God. It's in that brokenness that as we get still enough that we can hear Him whisper in His still small voice, "I'm here, and I love you, just as you are." He was there all the time; waiting for you to turn around and surrender into His loving arms; and allow Him to take all that brokenness and recreate you into a vessel for His honor.
No matter where you are... No matter where you have been... No matter what you are doing... No matter what you have done... No matter how bad you think you are... No matter how low you feel you've sunk... No matter how unlovable you feel you are... God loves you unconditionally! Yes, You!!! Right where you are... Just as you are... and is waiting eagerly for you to surrender your life into the Potter's hands. He will take all your brokenness and make you whole again; recreate and remold you into His image through Christ Jesus. So, "Pick up the broken pieces and bring them to the Lord, Pick up the broken pieces, Trust in His Holy Word; He will put you back together and make your life complete; Just place the broken pieces at the Savior's feet." Your brokenness will be Whole and Completely restored!
No matter what you are going through or what you have done, God is always there to pick up your broken pieces and make you whole again. Trust God, He Never Fails! He is forever faithful with an unconditional love. Be blessed, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~~~

REFOCUS YOUR VISION

A new day has arisen and the wonders of God's divine love enfolds! What will you allow Him to do within your life today? He desires to grant each of us fresh mercies each morning and to shower us with blessings too wonderful for words; if only we can look beyond our present surroundings and refocus our attention off ourself and onto Him, His will, and His way in our life. So, what are you focusing on today? How far is your vision? What do you see unfolding in your life today? Can you see the awesomeness of God; or do you have tunnel vision? Are you only seeing what's familiar in your surroundings, that prevent you from seeing His greatness; His Awesomeness?
Our God is a God of More than Enough! He is Greater than Great! And He has a plan for each of us far greater than anything we can ever imagine! But we must get our focus adjusted, so we can see His blessings as they come our way. God has a plan for each of our lives that include blessings beyond measure; If only we can look beyond what we see with our natural eyes and dare to look through eyes of faith. It's through those eyes of faith that we know God desires to bless and prosper us because His Word declares it in Jeremiah 29:11; and in faith we have proved Him to be Forever Faithful to fulfill His Word as He has promised! And it's by faith, we can begin basking in those blessings today; if only we can dare to believe and focus our faith to receive; knowing that He keeps us all covered in the palms of His hands.
As you begin this work week I pray you will allow your vision to focus more clearly and look unto the author and finisher of your faith. Look beyond what you see naturally and begin to see His plans for your life unfolding as your faith begins to arise within you. God loves you unconditionally and even tho' you may have fallen along the wayside, He is quick to pick you up in His loving arms and set you back onto His predesigned pathway for your life that will lead you to life eternal with Him; while guiding you along each step of the way.
So don't be defeated today with living below your worth. You are child of the Most High God and there is Nothing He won't do to help you be ALL you can be for His kingdom sake. So rise up and shake off those chains of doubt and despair; pull up those boot strings and tighten those laces; God has a work for you to do and He has nothing but good things planned for your life. So keep your eyes focused on Him, be filled with His Divine Love, enjoy the blessings of His Amazing Grace, and allow Holy Spirit to guide you into all truths as He leads you along your way. This is the day the Lord has made; Let's rejoice and be glad in it!!!

WARRIORS

Ya know, I've been going through Celebrate Recovery with my daughter and I realize just how delicate our mind is and how it can be so easily manipulated and damaged as we face uncertainties in life; and how very important it is to learn how to guard our minds on a continuous basis. So many people are being stricken down with dementia and alzheimers, mental breakdowns and anxiety; and there are those seeking freedom in all the wrong ways in attempts to escape the voices in their mind and feeling of self worthlessness they are made to believe; as satan runs to and fro over the earth seeking who he may to destroy and to kill, filling minds with all sorts of deceit and lies. It's time we Christians wake up and realize there is much need for prayer warriors, true prayer warriors; Prayer Warriors who will put on the whole armor of God and prepare for battle so we can help to break down the walls and stop the fiery darts satan uses to destroy the minds of our children and those we hold dear.
God, in His infinite wisdom, is fully aware of the sneaky attacks of satan and the many evil devices he uses to tear down and break our spirit, while continually bringing on attacks of anxiety, causing undue stress and mental disturbances. But God knows how deceptive satan is, so God gave us His WORD (JESUS); and He warns us to armor up and be on guard, so we will have the power to be more than conquerors in ALL things through Christ Jesus! Knowing Whose we are and what we are in Christ Jesus gives us authority over satan.... gives us boldness to speak the Word aloud.... Boldness to proclaim that "in Christ we can do all things"(Phil 4:13).... Boldness to proclaim "that we are more than conquerors in Him that loves us"(Rom 8:37).... Boldness to proclaim that "no weapon formed against us shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17).... Boldnes to proclaim that "God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2Tim 1:7).... Boldness to proclaim that "no evil shall befall us nor any harm come near our dwelling"(Psa 91:10) Boldness to proclaim that in Christ Jesus we are FREE from Every bondage, Free from Every Dis-Ease, Free from Every Sin, Free to be ALL God meant us to be in Christ Jesus!!! 
But we have to get the Word in Us! We have to get the source of our Power deep within! The more we put the Word into the very depths of our soul; the more power we have to conquer anything satan attempts to bring against our mind, so we won't be caught off guard. As we waken from sleep, We must armor up early because satan comes against us by those things we are most vulnerable to: our loved ones, our livelihood, our health, and even the moral standards we were raised on. Anything he can find that grips our heart, he will use in an attempt to break our minds down; So putting on the whole armor of God prepares us to battle the evil forces satan brings against us. When those voices of doubt come into your mind; just remember Whose you Are! You have been purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ and He has given you authority over every evil thing and that Nothing can cross the blood line of Jesus Christ. 
Allow yourself to feel the power begin to rise up within you and then boldly proclaim the WORD out loud.... Speak the Word to whatever satan has whispered; and Speak It Boldly! .... because "Greater is He that is within you than he that is in the world"(1Jn 4:4). 
Armed with the Word of God and covered by His precious blood, It's time we rare our shoulders back and take back what the devil has stolen. It's time we stop him dead center in his tracks! It's time we begin proclaiming who we are in Christ Jesus! It's time we proclaim aloud that We are Children of the Most High God! We are the head and not the tail! We are blessed and highly favored! We are Victors, not victims! We are Not just conquerors; but we are More than Conquerors in Christ Jesus! Be quick to speak the Word right back into satan's words; and just as Jesus defeated him in the wilderness by speaking the WORD back to his lying and deceitful tongue; God's Word will defeat him in every circumstance; in every situation of our life! 
So let's armor up! With God on our side We Can Not Be Defeated!

CONTINUING DELIVERANCE

You know I actually considered not accepting this '7 day challenge of love your spouse' from a precious friend since Larry has already gone home with the Lord; but after thinking about it for a bit, I realized that loving your spouse doesn't mean only if they're alive. Every widow/widower who has been left to pick up the pieces of a shattered heart with one half forever gone; finds that the love one toward that loved one continues forever and ever, even tho the vows we took said "til death we part". 
I became one with Larry at 17 yrs of age, 9 days before my 18th birthday, so when he died at 48 yrs of age, I was left in total devastation with people meaning well and wanting me to get on with my life, but my question was "How do you take the oneness God joined together and break it back apart, and ever feel whole again"; and the other question so many addressed me on was "how do I get on with my life" when my life was spent with my childhood sweetheart building this life before me? How do you pick up shattered dreams of growing old together, and watching our children and grandchildren flourish and thrive; without wanting to share it with the one who helped create all those dreams? 
Until this happens to you, you'll never know the relentless pain and grief that eventually becomes as natural a part of life as taking your next breath. The emptiness of your heart where the other half was filled can only be comforted through God's divine Love and Peace as only He can bring as the pain and grief is something you have to learn to bear and believe me, it is not easy. It took me 17 long desperate years of trying and continuously praying to get me to the point I am today and this past June 18 was his 18th home-going anniversary. Hard to believe he was gone that long with the pain and grief still so fresh, but God...
Yes God....In all His infinite wisdom, unending love, and longsuffering delivered me from the valley of death as He comforted and loved on me day after day, month after month, year after year; whispering sweet peace to me as He walked alongside me, picking me up in His comforting arms until I could bear to face life ahead with Him supporting and undergirding me as I attempted to exist and do what was expected of me on the job, in the community, and in my home. 
Many masks were worn to avoid showing my true self(filled with such pain and sorrow) in attempts to appear 'normal', 'that I was coping' and "getting on with life". I don't know what people do without a loving devoted family to support and love you through it all, but when you've been the one that held everything together and by nature was just a caregiver to one and all, you learn to disguise your pain and go about your daily life pretending all is well.
So years of pretense and wearing masks with smiles that covered my ocean of tears and mountains of heartbreak, I survived day by day until finally in total desperation, the close of 2015 awakened the fact I needed a drastic change in my life; being exhausted from trying to be someone I was not. I wanted to feel true joy again, wanted to feel alive, and free from the past hurts and past sorrows; so I went to the Lord in prayer again but this time, I refused to leave my room without joy and peace from all my past hurts and sorrows. I had what you might call, " A go to Jesus meeting" and a "Heart to Heart talk" and that I wanted Him to do a complete makeover in the life I had been living. I was tired of trying to please everyone else and never able to Really Be Me!. And He heard my cry and He Healed Me! He delivered me and set me free from all my hurts, from all my sorrows, and from all my oppression. Deliverance was mine in Christ Jesus and I cannot Praise Him enough today. 
As my true personal relationship with my Lord Jesus deepened, 
Holy Spirit began the much needed work within my heart of hearts; reconstructing my heart, renewing my strength; recreating and healing my broken body; sharing hope for a brighter future that He had planned for me(Jer 29:11). So in constant communication and little by little, Holy Spirit led me into 2016 with a new-found pathway God created just for me, and now finally I have deliverance from the past and look forward to each new day He has created just for me! 
I am forever grateful to have shared my earlier life with my spouse and the love of my life, my forever sweetheart, and I cherish all the precious memories we shared together; and yes indeed, I miss him so very much and would love to sit and talk with him today; but I have the hope of being reunited with him shortly as I know our Lord's return is closer now than ever before. 
So I encourage every couple out there, whose loved one is still with you to never take for granted one moment of time you are allowed to share on earth with your spouse; hold their hand, lean against their shoulder, tell them how much you love them and how precious they are to you; because at any given moment, they could be called home, as well. So enjoy your loved ones today and show them how much you care! You will never regret it when they're gone.

Delight in the Lord!

My delight is in the Lord; my God, my salvation. My strength comes from You, dear Lord, keeper of all heaven and earth as my mind is stayed on Thee. Your Word declares that I am blessed in the city and blessed in the fields; I am the head and not the tail; I am blessed and highly favored; everything I set my hand to do shall prosper as You are the supplier of all my needs. Blessed shall be the fruit of my womb; my children shall rise up and worship You, Lord God, in all their ways, bringing honor to You all the days of their life; for we are the blessed of the Lord, created in Christ Jesus unto good works!
Lord, You are my strength and my refuge; a very present help in times of trouble. You lead me in all my ways, and I lift my hands in submission to Your will and Your way for Your glory sake. You are the love of my life; You are the hope that I cling to; You mean more than the world to me. I wouldn't trade You for silver or gold; wouldn't trade You for riches untold; You are my everything! Jesus, Lover of my soul; My God, in Whom I delight! Songs of praise I will lift unto You as I continue all the days of my life. May I never fail to give all praise and honor unto You, My God and my salvation; my joy and my peace! In all my ways, I will acknowledge You and You shall direct my path!
I praise You, Lord, for Your Amazing Grace and Faithfulness. I praise You, Lord, for looking beyond my faults and seeing my need. I praise You, Lord, for reaching down and delivering me from the darkness of night and allowing me to see You clearly as my Light and my Hope. I praise You, Lord, as I share this Hope in You, Jesus, to all who are in need today. I yield my life as a willing vessel, allowing Your Love to flow through me; reaching out to a hurting world, whether in Word or in deed. May all I do and all I say bring honor and glory to Your Holy Name, Jesus!

The Golden Rules?

"Do unto others as they do unto you" or "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"--- Which is your Golden Rule? After all, the decision is really up to you. What we are taught is often overshadowed by how people treat us. We learn as we grow in life through trial and error so choosing how we react is strictly up to us! It's easier to teach others how they should act toward others, or to say how we should react toward others; than actually treating others with the forgiveness and peace expressed from our Lord. While the carnal mind tends to be less forgiving than the recreated mind of Christ, the ability to express Divine Love to others defines who we truly are in Christ Jesus.
You are what you say and how you treat others as Jesus taught in John 13:34-35 (NKJV), "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; As I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all will know that you are my disciples; if you have love one for another." So I ask you again, Which is your Golden Rule? Will you show others the same Love He has shown you; or will you do unto them as they do unto you? The choice is yours. 
So as you go about your day, remember that what you say and how you treat others defines who you truly are; so I pray you will choose your personal "Golden Rule" wisely and have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, as you bless others; because God loves you and so do I~~~

Person to PERSON?

   Lately I find myself just wanting to build a closer relationship with Holy Spirit and to know Him person to Person. Not out of need or want, not out of desperation, but just wanting to enjoy that special closeness with the Lover of my soul; the Person who never leaves nor forsakes me, but Who is with me always, deep within my soul; leading and guiding me through every trial, through every burden, and Who comforts and brings peace during every loss of a precious loved one. What a blessing it is to feel His presence when I deliberately make time to be with Him, person to Person, before the cares of the day move in. I have learned that I don't ever want to be in such a hurry that I can't take time to acknowledge Him; to feel His presence; to hear His whisper; to enjoy Him and the fullness of His Person as my strength, my shield, my joy, my peace, my comforter, my guide, my all in all. All that I need and all I will ever need, He is!
   We seem to have grown so accustomed to going to God in prayer; and as we kneel in prayer, we offer up our needs and requests, then close with amen; and then we're up and leaving before allowing Holy Spirit time to talk with us. We say, 'we believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit' and really, that's good. Most of us have been taught about Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Our Lord and Savior most of our life; but how much have we really been taught about Holy Spirit; other than being the third person of the Godhead, our comforter and guide? And seriously, would that help you to know Who He Really is... Really??? Do You Really know Whom You Believe?
   Holy Spirit is a Person... a Real Person! Just as Real as Our Heavenly Father and Our Lord Jesus! Our Holy Spirit is just as real a Person as when Jesus walked the earth as a Person; and Jesus, having been crucified and resurrected from the dead, promised to send us Holy Spirit to lead and guide us because Holy Spirit would never have to leave or forsake us because He would be within us!  In John's writings from chapters14-17, Jesus tries to tell us how very important it was for Him to go away and Holy Spirit to come to us because His Spirit working within us would make us more than over-comers in all things pertaining to Godliness in this world!  But before He can make us an over-comer, we must come to know Holy Spirit as a Real Person. A Real Person Who has feelings just like you and me and Who loves and cares for you and me more than we could ever imagine.
   Having grown up in a Loving Christian Family, I spent many years teaching and leading others to Christ, before I 'Really' came to KNOW Jesus for myself as more than Lord and Savior. I knew He was God's Son Who came as a gift from God; born of the virgin Mary to redeem mankind and give His life a ransom for our sins; and having accepted His works I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior, but even though I had studied years and years in deep bible studies and prayed diligently and did all things as 'a Christian', I never knew the difference a personal relationship could make until a few years ago. 
   Now I probably lost some of you there and if I did then I pray you will come to find your own personal relationship as well and then you will understand that knowing and believing is a lot different than having a personal relationship with Him.  And yes, If I had died in that earlier state I believe I would have gone to heaven since my name was written in the Lamb's Book of Life and I was living my life for Him; but having a personal relationship is something you have to really desire and seek with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, as declared in Jeremiah 29:13; and when I really sought him I found Him and came to Really Know Him, Praise the Lord; and I believe the same holds true for seeking Holy Spirit. 
   Do we really know "Holy Spirit, the Person" or do we know "the Holy Spirit" a force, known for bringing miracles to pass? Do we know Holy Spirit only as what we've been taught about Him or do we know Him personally? While it is true Holy Spirit does bring miracles to pass; could it be we've been merely using Him for what we want to happen? Have we been neglecting Him by not knowing Who He Really Is? I want to believe that none of us chose to neglect Him deliberately; I believe we just never realized Who He Really Is. Many of us grew up with a type of fear related to His name being 'Holy Ghost' or 'Holy Spirit' and we all know that spirits and ghosts bring fear to many who don't understand and I would dare to say many preachers and teachers years ago didn't understand enough back then to explain Holy Spirit in such a way to help us understand how valuable He really is in our lives, so they taught on more familiar passages instead. Not demeaning the preachers and teachers back then, because as students we should have sought the Word on His behalf as well.
   We just didn't Know Holy Spirit was a Real Person Who longs for a close relationship with all of us; that He longs to spend time with us; not just to hear our petitions and then watch as we walk away; but that He actually wants us to stay and converse with Him, on a one-to-one basis; since He already knows what we have need of before we ask. He desires to spend time together strengthening us with His mighty power and unfailing grace. It is Holy Spirit that enables us to become more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. He holds the spiritual gifts and distributes them accordingly as needed. Why would we not want to know Him better?... and why would we not want to form a closer relationship with Him? Person to Person ... I in Him and He in me!  
   We go to college, to trade schools, take extra training and even make time to be re-certified in order to understand and become better acquainted with our career and business; but where is our commitment to our own spiritual journey with God?  Are we satisfied to just go to church when scheduled, have devotion and prayer, display all the characteristics of being a 'Christian' and let things fall as they fall?  Shouldn't we become better acquainted with God the Father, God the Son Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit? and shouldn't we be making sure we have that one on one relationship that is personal and ongoing 24/7. Shouldn't we have a greater desire and determination to know Him and the Power that recreated us and made us new creatures in Christ Jesus; empowering us to become more than conquerors through His anointing within us? Shouldn't we be seeking Him with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind? 
   Yes, Indeed, I say we should!  Since relationships are built on communication between two individuals; my question for you is, "What kind of relationship do you want with Holy Spirit?"... and Since Holy Spirit is here on earth to lead and guide you into all truths, don't you think it's time you get to know Him Person to Person, so you will be able to follow His guidance?  While you think on these things, I pray that you will begin to seek that personal relationship with Holy Spirit and allow Him to show you all He desires to fulfill in your life, Person to Person!  Don't miss out by not knowing Him!  Be Blessed, dear friends.
