LEARNING WHO WE ARE IN HIM

"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace, And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:12-17.
Through my years of trial and error, I have learned that we don't have to be someone special to do God's will; we just have to be a willing vessel. God wants us to be real; real before Him and before others. He wants us to be that unique person He created us to be for His glory. As we breathe in His presence we breathe in His strength, His peace, His essence empowering us with grace from on high. As we begin to learn just Who He is and who we are in Him, we begin to develop a mindset that allows us to boldly proclaim that we are a child of the Most High God in Christ Jesus and we can do all things through Christ Who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).
The more we get to know Him, the more we come to believe all we are in Him: we are blessed and highly favored; we are the head and not the tail, we are above and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:1-14); we are Loved with an everlasting love(Jeremiah 31:3) and there is nothing that can ever separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus(Romans 8:38,39); Our daddy is Abba Father (Romans 8:15, Galatians 4:6); we are the apple of His eye (Zechariah 2:8), and there is Nothing too hard for Him (Jeremiah 32:27).
So why not begin saying what He says you are instead of what the world says? Why not accept His unconditional love and allow Him to show you His perfect plan for this life He wants you to enjoy?
Why not surrender to His will and let Him work out those things too hard for you to handle? He's just waiting for you to ask Him into your heart and let Him be your Lord and Savior. The decision is yours!
Blessings to you and your family!
