A Love Story

"Tell me the story of Jesus, Write on my heart every word; Tell me the story most precious, Sweetest that ever was heard.[John 3:16]. Tell how the angels in chorus, Sang as they welcomed His birth, “Glory to God in the highest! Peace and good tidings to earth.”[Luke 2:13-14]. Fasting alone in the desert, Tell of the days that are past, How for our sins He was tempted, Yet was triumphant at last.[Matthew 4:1-11]. Tell of the years of His labor, Tell of the sorrow He bore; He was despised and afflicted, Homeless, rejected and poor [Isaiah 53:3, Luke 9:58]]; Tell of the cross where they nailed Him, Writhing in anguish and pain[Matthew 27:28-54]; Tell of the grave where they laid Him[Matthew 27:57-66], Tell how He liveth again![John 20]." 
"Love in that story so tender, Clearer than ever I see; Stay, let me weep while you whisper, “Love paid the ransom for me.”[John 3:16-17]. I love this old song and how step by step, day by day we can feel the excitement in the air that our precious Lord Jesus, who was birthed by Holy Spirit as the greatest Love to ALL mankind, lived and taught amongst us and gave Himself [the pure Lamb of God without spot or wrinkle], as the redemptive atonement for ALL mankind, and is coming back to earth soon to gather His own, and so shall we ever be with Him forevermore. Praise His Holy Name, Jesus! and the more anxious we feel, the more we need to be sharing Jesus to those without hope as Spirit leads. 
I pray that today you will share the story of Jesus and allow Hope to rise up within the hearts of all mankind that they may be redeemed and delivered through His amazing grace and cleansing blood that washes away all our sins forevermore. We have been commissioned by Christ Jesus to be about the Father's business while sharing the Hope that is in Him and win the lost to Jesus by the wonder working power of Holy Spirit that lives within.
May you be blessed as you bless others by sharing the Story of Jesus; the Light in the darkness, the Only Way to the Father, the One and Only Truth that Triumphs over all; and may you enjoy His love along your way because God loves you and so do I~~~

Do You Hear Him Now

"Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father, There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not; As Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be. Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided; Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

I love to wake up with melody in my soul, singing within my spirit with the assurance that He is with me, working within me, and will supply all I will need for this blessed day He has given. What a matchless, wonderful God who watches over me, comforts and keeps me, guards and guides me wherever I go. With all the strife and confusion, wonders and trials continuing to shine display in this world we now live, I am eternally thankful I can shine forth the Hope within me that is in Christ Jesus and I look forward to that home He has prepared for me when this earthly life is over.

We have a Savior who came and conquered all that was needed to assure us that in Him, we have no fear of any thing that comes against us with Him abiding within and guiding us in paths along our way, as we listen and follow His direction. He came to teach and conquer with His ultimate sacrifice on the cross for our sins, but He also conquered death and is alive and ascended back to the Father so Holy Spirit could come and dwell within each believer to guide us along our way as we listen to His direction.

But Listening is the key to living an abundant life in Christ Jesus. Keeping our ears in tune to His voice comes with preparing our hearts early in the day before Him with a submissive will. Realizing that He is the ultimate control for our life and that in trusting Him wholeheartedly our needs may not be handled as we would think, since His ways are not our ways; but if we will trust His guidance we will see His glorious results when the answers come. So I pray, "I need Thee every hour, Most gracious Lord; No tender voice like Thine, Can peace afford. I need Thee, O I need Thee, Every hour I need Thee! O bless me now, Savior, I come to Thee."

So dear friend, as you go about your day, I pray you will listen to Him and allow Him to direct your steps so you can abide in His grace and in His divine love because God loves you and so do I~~~

Armoring Up

How's your thinking today? Are you thinking on good things or is your mind filled with doubts and despair? The mind is a delicate thing and so easily manipulated while facing uncertainties in life. That's why it's necessary to guard our minds on a continuous basis. Most of us have friends who have been diagnosed with dementia or alzheimers, mental breakdowns and anxiety, and who experience periods of doubt and confusion as the mind has given way to stressors along their way. More and more we hear of suicides and devilish acts against innocent victims, of terrorism on the rise as satan runs to and fro over the earth seeking who he may destroy, and continually filling minds with all sorts of distress and evil works.

God is fully aware of the sneaky attacks of satan and the many evil devices he uses to tear down and break our spirit, while continually bringing on attacks of evil and anxiety and causing undue stress and mental disturbances. Knowing the devilish acts upon the earth, God sent His WORD to give hope in times like these. Holy Spirit equips us for the fight as we armor up and stand guard, giving us power to be more than conquerors in ALL things through Christ Jesus! Knowing Whose we are and what we are in Christ Jesus gives us authority over satan. In Christ we can do all things"(Phil 4:13); we are more than conquerors in Him that loves us"(Rom 8:37); "no weapon formed against us shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17). For "God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2Timothy 1:7); so "no evil shall befall us nor any harm come near our dwelling"(Psa 91:10). In Christ we are FREE from Every bondage, Free from Every Dis-Ease, Free from Every Sin, Free to be ALL God meant us to be in Christ Jesus!!!

We just have to know what we have and whose we are so we can use the Word to fight off the enemy's attacks! We have to know the Source of our Power deep within! The more we get the Word into the very depths of our soul; the more power we have to conquer anything satan attempts to bring against our mind, so we won't be caught off guard. As we wake from sleep, we must armor up early because satan comes early against us by those things we are most vulnerable to: our loved ones, our livelihood, our health, and even the moral standards we were raised on. Anything he can find that grips our heart, to catch us off guard, he will use in an attempt to break our minds down. So by putting on the whole armor of God as soon as our eyes open to a new day, prepares us to battle the evil forces he brings against us. When those voices of doubt come into your mind; just remember Whose you Are! You have been purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ and He has given you authority over Every evil thing and Nothing can cross the blood line of Jesus Christ unless you allow it!

Armed with the Word of God and covered by His precious blood, It's time to rise up and take back what the devil has stolen from us. It's time we stop him dead center in his tracks! It's time we begin proclaiming who we are in Christ Jesus and that we refuse to be defeated! It's time we proclaim aloud that We are Children of the Most High God; blessed and highly favored! We are the head, and not the tail! We are Victors, not victims! We are More than Conquerors in Christ Jesus who loves us! Holy Spirit empowers us with boldness to speak God's Word over any situation and refuse evil to harm us or our family in Jesus' name! Just as Jesus defeated him in the wilderness by speaking the WORD back to his lying and deceitful tongue; so should we! As Christ Is, So Are We! God's Word will defeat him in every circumstance and every situation in life as we guard our minds with all diligence! So let's armor up; get the Word deeply implanted within us; and with God on our side we cannot be defeated!

Eternal Relationship

Ever wonder about relationships and why they succeed or fail? Ever wonder why so many people say they are 'seeking a relationship' when really they just want to see what the other has to offer; and when things don't go the way they expect, they pick up and leave? So what is a relationship really based on? What does it take to form a true relationship?
Relationship is defined as 'the state in which two or more concepts, objects, or people are connected; the state of being connected by blood or marriage; the state of where two or more people or organizations regard and behave toward each; and the emotional or sexual association between two people.' Whatever the purpose; a relationship still takes two to engage and make up that relationship.
So why do so many relationships fail? Could it be that only one is willing to provide what is needed to make that relationship last? Could it be that it was never a relationship to begin with; and could it be that one, or neither, made Jesus the center of that relationship?
Doesn't matter if it's a personal or business relationship; building any relationship on the foundation of Christ Jesus is the only sure basis for a life-long success in any given relationship. You may be wondering why I would bring Jesus into this scenario, so I will be glad to tell you. It's because the relationship between God and man is the greatest relationship of all; and because God created you and me for a relationship in which He could walk and talk with us anytime of the day or night so we could talk and listen and communicate back and forth in a true relationship. And that's the basis for a true relationship; communicating back and forth. WOW! Can you imagine a relationship with God like that? Where you and I could talk and even laugh and enjoy conversations with God, one on one, with no interference; just mankind and God; that's what God is longing for; that is what He is seeking. 
We go to God in prayer all the time for different answers and needs, but in all our asking, do we ever stop to ask Him what we can do for Him? What He seeks from us? Do we realize how much He desires for us to come to Him just because we want to spend some alone time with Him; asking nothing in return?
All through our life we've sought answers, sought help, sought understanding, sought guidance, sought wisdom; and when our answers didn't come or were delayed, we wondered why it seemed we couldn't hear from God. But did we ever take the necessary time to form that true relationship with Him? Did we set aside uninterrupted time after submitting those requests to be able to hear back from Him and just be alone with Him as needed in a true relationship?
If you desire a true relationship with God, then I encourage you to begin to set aside time to be alone with Him, your Father, your Savior, your Comforter, and guide. The more you spend that much needed alone time with Him, the more you become attentive to His voice, His ways, and His will for your life; and you will begin to enjoy that much desired relationship between God and man! 
Then and only then, will you begin to live that abundant life and know the true meaning of being free from apprehension and fears; free from bondage and sins, and free to be who you are in Him while proclaiming Jesus as Lord of your life!
If you will take this much needed time and devote it to building this eternal relationship with Him; I guarantee this will begin the greatest relationship of your entire lifetime; filled with joy unspeakable and peace beyond measure!

Power Of The Tongue

Garbage in, garbage out; good in, good out. At some point, what we see and hear moves from just being in our head to being in our hearts. Anger, brawling, slander, malice, envy, hatred, cursing, betrayal, manipulation, deception, fear, stress, and lack of trust all come from one's perception. What we allow to remain in our mind through what we see and hear enters our hearts, and what is in our hearts will eventually come out our mouth and dictate our actions.

Jesus taught in Luke 6:45, "The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart; for the mouth speaks what the heart is full of." 

David declares in Psalm 101:2-4, "I will walk in my house with a blameless heart. I will set before my eyes no vile thing. The deeds of faithless men I hate; they will not cling to me; men of perverse heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with evil." 

He explains living a blameless life takes careful consideration in all we say and do. In Psalm 141:3 He prayed, "Set a guard over my mouth, Lord, Keep watch over the gates of my lips."  His son, Solomon, instructs us in Proverbs 4:23, "Above all else, to guard our hearts with all diligence for out of it flow all the issues of life" and Paul teaches in Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever admirable- if anything is excellent or praise worthy, to think about such things."  

These men learned that it is from the abundance of the heart and mind that the mouth speaks blessings or curses to one another, and that once words are spoken they usher in life or death because there is power in the tongue.(Proverbs 18:21)

Filling our mind and heart with good things as Paul taught equips us to speak forth good things (blessings) which help to build up others instead of tearing them down and since we will give account for every hurtful evil word at judgment we must be mindful not to hurt or offend even the least as Jesus taught in Matthew 18:6.

Variety Was Meant To Be

The older I get the more I love to take leisure walks early in the morning, in my own pace and in my own time, reflecting on God's goodness and the day ahead! It seems to refresh me and give me clarity of mind for the goal set before me; while enjoying all the sights and sounds of God's gifts along my walk. I have learned that wisdom comes not only from teachers and instruction books but also from past experiences whether good or bad, and it's not about how quickly things are learned, but how they are accomplished as we run our race in life. 
In 2 Timothy 4:7 Paul taught us of running his race by fighting a good fight, keeping the faith, and finishing his course; and I find that running my race requires me talking with God very early in the morning so He can lead and direct my footsteps throughout my day; so I strive to guard my mind from negative things and maintain a positive sense of perseverance and endurance, while keeping the faith as I enjoy life along my way. No two people can run their race exactly the same so I have learned that I must run my race in the manner that only I can do and not the way others think I should. 
God created every thing in its own unique way as it pleased Him with a variety of looks; so I believe variety must be meant to be just the way it is. Variety affects everything in life from fashion styles to foods we eat, and every thing we see and touch. God did not create us to be exactly alike but created every thing with its own uniqueness in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors from flowers to trees, to birds of the air or fish of the sea, to the greatest mammal or the smallest creature, to the majestic mountaintops to the lowlands of the earth; to the men and women you and I are; God saw everything He had made, and declared that it was very good (Gen 1:31); and if variety pleases God, then who are we to declare otherwise?
Since God loves variety, let's stop trying to measure up to man's standards and let's be the person God created us to be; just the way we are; every one different by God's own choice. Look around at all the different things and people He has designed by His very own hands and see the beautiful variety within this world surrounding us. The race set before each of us was predestined before we were even born so let's run our race in all its fullness and be that unique individual God created us to be; Child of the Most High God.
