Power of the Tongue

While reading this morning, I was reminded how Words hold the power to heal, to build up, to tear down, to kill and to destroy as they are spoken. Do we realize the power of the tongue as we speak and talk one to another? Get into a crowd and just listen to the chatter all around! Words are spoken out haphazardly, without even thinking, to those we encounter. Some words will cause laughter, some will cause alarm, some spread gossip, some cause tears; some will encourage and bring hope, while some will leave others devastated. No matter what word is spoken, ALL WORDS have an effect on those who speak them as well as those who hear them

From the beginning of time, Words spoken caused things to come into existence as recorded in Genesis 1; GOD SPOKE..... and things became; one by one creation was formed by the Word spoken..... and still today, the Word spoken continues to be the most powerful force known to mankind. Once spoken, words go forth and will hopefully encourage and inspire; or sadly, they will tear down, discourage, and even rob one of their self worth.

Proverbs 18:21 tells us "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it, will eat its fruit". and James 3:8-10 tells us, "But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so."

So from the beginning of time we see that Words hold the power to build up or tear down, to heal or to destroy, so we must pray God to put a guard over our mouth to assure words coming forth are going to encourage, to inspire and to build up one another in love and kindness and not become entangled with evil desires as we go through our day as noted in Psalm 141:3-5.

Let's speak forth the Word creating good works in Jesus' name; having been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and let's enjoy this beautiful life God has given. Let's be all we can be for His glory sake and have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friend. God loves you and so do I~~~

THE POWER IS WITHIN US

A new day has arisen and the wonders of God's divine love continues to unfold. What will we allow Him to do within our life today? He grants each of us fresh mercies every morning and is ready to shower us with blessings beyond our comprehension if we can look beyond what we see and re-focus our attention off our self and on to Him, His will, and His way in our life. 
Question is can you look beyond what you see naturally and see God moving in your life today? Can you dare to see the awesomeness of God or do you have tunnel vision? Are you seeing what's directly in front of you or will your faith allow you to see Him moving on your behalf?
God is a God of More than Enough who has a plan for each of us far greater than anything we can ever imagine but we must get our focus re-adjusted so we see not what is natural; but we see through eyes of faith. His Word declares it in Jeremiah 29:11,"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you hope and a future." If we believe His Word to be true, then by faith we look for positive answers to come to pass because He promised. We just have to believe it, declare it to be so, and look expectantly for it to come to pass. 
So as children of the Most High God, expect nothing but the Best to come your way! Speak the Word boldly in season and out of season! Declare the goodness of the Lord and stand upright before Him. Know in your heart that You are His Child and there is Nothing He won't do to help you be ALL you can be for His kingdom sake. 
Rise up and shake off those chains of fear, of doubt, and despair; pull up those boot strings with the gospel of peace and tighten those laces; God has a work for us to do and He has nothing but good things planned. Stop believing lies of satan and start proclaiming "Thus Saith The Lord." Keep your eyes focused on His Amazing Grace and trust Him to guide you along your way. Declare that God is Greater than all your fears and rejoice in His goodness today and always.

HE'S MORE THAN WONDERFUL TO ME

🎵"He promised us that He would be a Counselor; a Mighty God and the Prince of Peace; He promised us that He would be a Father and would love us with a love that would not cease; Well I tried Him and I found His promises are true; He's everything He said that He would be; the finest words I know could not begin to tell, just what Jesus really means to me. I stand amazed when I think the King of glory, would come to dwell within the heart of man; I marvel just to know He Really Loves Me; when I think of Who He is, and who I am!" 🎶

🎵"For He's more wonderful than my mind can conceive; He's more wonderful than my heart can believe; He goes beyond my highest hopes and fondest dreams; He's everything that my soul every longed for, everything He's promised and so much more; More than amazing; More than marvelous; More than miraculous could ever be; He's more than wonderful, that's what Jesus is to me!"🎶

In this world, He truly is the best Counselor we could ever find, A Mighty God Who is Forever Faithful and True; The Prince of Peace over all our enemies, More than Amazing when we consider His works; More than Marvelous with His Unconditional Love, More than Miraculous over all the enemy's darts thrown at us. He's Our Devoted Father, Our Loving Savior, Our Dearest Friend, and Lord over all.

There are no words to adequately describe all Jesus is to our lives because He is more than our minds can conceive, more than our hearts can believe; who goes beyond our highest hopes and fondest dreams; He's every thing our soul ever longed for, everything He's promised and so much more; so why not acknowledge Him and allow Him to accompany you throughout your life as well?

I am not the person I was from birth because I chose to believe John 3:16 and repent of my sins and ask Jesus into my heart as my Redeemer, my Savior, and my Lord. And from that moment I was cleansed of my past and reborn by His miraculous soul cleansing power into a Child of the Most High God in Christ Jesus! Such a miracle my mind can't explain, but one that only He can empower as we trust in Him.

As you think on the reality of who Jesus is and all He has done for us; I pray you too will choose to believe and receive His Divine LOVE because He loves you just the way you are, unconditionally, but He doesn't want to leave you in your sins but wants to deliver and bless you so why not Give Him a try today? Go ahead! Let Jesus love on you a little and feel His peace like nothing you have every felt before!

When you make Jesus your Savior and Lord, You will find He is truly more than Amazing; More than Marvelous; More than Miraculous could ever be! And after a little while you too will be singing, "He's more than wonderful; that's what Jesus Is to me!"
Allow Him to accompany you along your way today and make His ways your ways. He wants only the Best for your life. God loves you and so do I~~~

REACH OUT AND TOUCH

Good morning, precious friends. I pray you have a wonderfully blessed day under the shadow of Almighty God as you acknowledge Him in all your ways throughout this day. May you have ears to hear, eyes to see, hands to give, feet to go, bowels of compassion, and a heart FILLED with His Love so you can be all you can be for His divine purpose in your life today.

As believers in Christ Jesus, we are left with His commission to reach out and make a difference in others' live; to share the Hope in Christ Jesus with the hopeless, to be His voice extended to someone in need of a kind word, his arms to give a caring hug, or to be His ear for that someone in need of someone to just listen as they share their heart. All these examples open the door to sharing Jesus with those in need today.

We really are our brothers and sisters keepers whether we want to acknowledge it or not. The greatest command given to mankind was to love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind, and to love our neighbor as our self; and Jesus told His followers they would be known by the love shared one to another; so let's be His followers and find that someone in need of a special touch of Hope today. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

I pray you will be encouraged to be His hand reaching out to others and be a blessing as you are blessed today. God loves you and so do I~~~

PEACE IN THE MIDST OF STORMS

In the midst of the storms in our life, He is there! In the midst of war and strife, He is there! In the midst of every thing that affects us and our families, great or small, He is there! In the midst of sickness and disease, He is there! God is right there beside us, fighting for us, working within us, to deliver us from any thing that attempts to hinder us from being that victorious individual He created us to be. Nothing is too big that our God cannot handle and Nothing is too difficult that He cannot conquer! When you've done all you know to do in any given situation, you just have to Stand Still (Ephesians 6:13) and let God move.

"The Father has a plan though it's hard to see it now; You feel you're walking all alone but He is there no doubt; When the storm around you rages, and you're tossed to and fro; When you're faced with life's decisions, not sure which way to go; Stand still and let God move, Standing still is hard to do; When you feel you have reached the end, He'll make a way for you; Stand still and let God move. When the enemy surrounds you, and the walls are closing in; When the tide is swiftly rising, and you wonder where He's been; Friend, there never was a moment that His arms weren't reaching out; You can rest assured and be secure, God is moving right now; Stand still and let God move; Standing still is hard to do: When you feel you have reached the end He'll make a way for you; Stand still, and let God move; Stand still, and let God move. The answer will come, but only in His time; Stand still and let God move, Stand still and let God move!"

Dear friend, I pray that whatever you may face today, you know beyond a doubt you are not alone; God is right there beside you, working within you to guide and strengthen you, making you victorious over ALL things in your life through Christ Jesus! Rest assured that before anything happens today, God already knows about it and has already conquered it on your behalf. You just have to trust Him and His wisdom through it all. With man, it may seem impossible; but with God ALL things are possible to those who believe and allow Him to deliver, to protect, and to guide them along life's journey.

PEACE OF MIND

Peace, What a wonderful Word! In any definition, peace is used in so many ways throughout our day. How do you perceive peace? Do you use it to describe your mood or surroundings? Do you use it to describe its need in this world of turmoil and wars? Do you use it to describe the environment you desire in your home? In your office? Within your own life? Or is peace needed in all the above?
Peace is defined as: freedom from disturbance; quiet and tranquility; freedom from, or cessation of war or violence; can be used as a greeting; an order to remain silent; a state of harmony between people or groups; freedom from strife; or spiritually, can mean "to be complete" or "to be sound." I could go on and on but actually peace is whatever we decide it to be within our own Individual life; whether it be personal, family, or worldwide.
I find that within my own life, my peace is found in God. He is "Yahweh Shalom" who completes me! He keeps me sound in the midst of the cares of this world. He brings peace of mind as I Relax in Him and Trust Him to He guide me along life's pathway.
No matter how you need peace to exist in your life, I pray you will allow God to be your source, because only He can bring peace in the midst of any storm of life, when you ask. And when you ask, learn to relax in Him; to listen and to follow His guidance; and as you allow yourself to trust Him in all your ways, you will find sweet peace of mind like you never knew.

ARE YOU AWAKE

This morning I was reminded of sweet memories when as a parent, I would be awakened with my little one right in front of my face that I could literally feel them breathing on me, eagerly waiting for me to open my eyes and she would ask, "are you wake?

Even tho it would startle me, it quickly brought a smile to both of us and that sweet feeling of loving warmth as we would hug each other tightly.

My little ones have since grown up to be parents themselves, but these precious memories remind me of my Father's love as He watches over me while I sleep and eagerly waits for me to open my eyes and acknowledge His presence as He softly whispers, "Good morning, Are you awake?"

There is nothing like the love of our Heavenly Father and the presence of Holy Spirit sweetly accompanying me throughout my day and night. It is so wonderful to wake up in the morning and feel God's presence awaiting my response to Him; to let Him know I'm aware He is there and to let Him know how much I love and value Him in my life.

There's not a thing I will go through in any given day, that He doesn't already know about and has already made the provision for me to conquer and come out victorious with Him right there beside me, all the way, if I keep my mind on Him.

With God on our side, we are made victorious warriors and more than conquerors in this life and loved more than we could ever imagine.

So I pray you will remember to acknowledge Him and be filled with His love and guidance through your day. Be Blessed, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~~
