A Heart Destined for Grace

A Heart Destined for Grace is a heart purposed to follow God's will in all things. Jesus tells us in John 16:33, "I have told you these things so that in me, you may have peace. In this world you will have troubles; But take heart; I have overcome the world." Jesus was teaching and equipping His followers, to not become discouraged when situations of this world come against them; but to take heart(do not fear, or let their hearts become troubled) because He had already overcome the world.

Jesus came to prepare the way necessary so we could have His peace in every situation that might arise in our lives. He assures us that in this world we will have troubles, but because He has already conquered ALL things, we are made 'More than conquerors through Him Who dwells within us, (Romans 8:37)! Jesus taught His followers throughout the chapters of St John 14,15,and16 that He would not leave us comfortless but would send us a Comforter Who would teach us in all our ways. So learning to take a step back from any given situation and allow time to discuss it with the Lord, allows Him to step in and guide us in whatever we are encountering, victoriously with grace and truth.
Learning to take a much needed step back from situations and talk it over with the Lord is the beginning of a heart destined for grace; a heart seeking the will of God in all our ways. On a human minded scale, it's easy to jump right in and try to work given situations out on our own, and usually we just make a mess of things and are left feeling awful about the turn out; when the outcome could have been solved much more peaceful, had we taken that step back to communicate with the Lord and allowed Him to guide us in our next move, resulting in a peaceful resolve.
As followers of Christ Jesus, we are destined for a heart of grace; a heart filled with His love and a mind set on things above. Jesus came to bring us a Life filled with Love, with Joy, and with Peace in all our ways. He came that our hearts be filled with His Amazing Grace enabling us to show forth His divine Love one to another. He came that we would have Peace in all our ways. He came, He overcame, and He surrendered His will to the Father's Will, thereby laying down His life for you and me, so we could be pardoned from ALL our sins and live a Holy Life unto Him, the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
He desires to be our Lord, our Comforter, our Peace, and Lover of our soul. He desires to shower us with blessings beyond all we could ever imagine and give us the Best Life imaginable through Him. He desires a personal relationship by spending time in His presence, and as our relationship grows, our ears and our hearts become more receptive to His voice so we can follow His guidance in all our ways. He desires to give us that heart destined for grace if only we take time to hear His voice!
I pray you will take the time to get alone with Him and acquire a heart destined for grace so you can truly enjoy a wonderfully blessed day, simply because God loves you and so do I~~~

Peace In Him

"Far away in the depths of my spirit tonight, Rolls a melody sweeter than psalm; In celestial-like strains it unceasingly falls, O'er my soul like an infinite calm. Peace, peace, wonderful peace; Coming down from the Father above; Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray; In fathomless billows of love."

I love this precious song and the assurance it holds for me and precious loved ones as well. Feeling God's wonderful peace flow through my spirit with free falling celestial-like strains brings forth a calm like none other; reassuring that God has me safely secured in the palm of His protective hands.
Every thought, every tear, every fear, every need is all covered and protected under the completed works of Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior! No greater peace can ever be found, no greater source is ever needed, than the peace of God that passes all understanding. What a peace of mind to know He is forever faithful; watching over us day and night.
Dear friends, in times like these, I pray you feel the unconditional love of God as Peace, Peace, Wonderful Peace, flows down from the Father above; sweeping over your spirit forever I pray in fathomless billows of love. May the peace of God dwell in your hearts forever I pray; reassuring you that God loves you and so do I~~~

The Amazement of Our Lord

Isn't the love of God beyond amazing? Just to wake up and feel his love abiding deep within your very soul brings such a secure solace to the mind. What a blessing just to feel His presence and the gifts of a loving family, precious friends, and how He is teaching me to see beyond my normal understanding into His perfect predestined plan for my life.

I love talking with Him in the stillness of night, to know He is near in the early morning light with the assurance He has me covered in the palm of His hands. All that I need He is..... My God, my Savior, my Lord, my Love, my Protector, my Comfort. my Provider, my Peace and so much more!
I am forever thankful for His Amazing Grace and Unconditional Love that allows Him to look beyond my faults and see my needs: Such Amazing Grace!!!

I pray you sense His precious love and feel His unseen Hand guiding you along your way today because God loves you and so do I~~~

Reprograming the Spiritual Man

John 1:1-5 tells us, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God! The same was in the beginning with God! All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made! In Him was life; and the life was the light of men; and the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not."

I find it amazing that Jesus, Son of Almighty God, the very Creator of all Heaven and Earth, walked among His very own creation and no one recognized Him for Who He truly was? Were they like so many of us? So involved in their daily cares that they could only see through natural eyes, without the ability to see the spiritual Light walking alongside them. Compare them to us not being able to see or to feel Him walking beside us? Or to sense Holy Spirit working within us?
It's all a conditioning thing! While many of us will set aside time to improve our bodies physically and change our eating habits to obtain healthier bodies; where is our motivation to improve the spiritual side of us? God expects us to take care of our bodies which is the temple of Holy Spirit, but we should be just as mindful to set aside time to spend in the Word so we can grow and be nourished mentally and spiritually in Him.
So how do we reprogram our self spiritually? Through setting aside time for God and by literally scheduling Him into our busy schedules. Start by scheduling time to spend with the author and finisher of your faith, Jesus Christ! I challenge you to try this: set your clock 30 minutes earlier than normal, just as you would if you had something urgent to do, grab a cup of coffee or your morning drink, pull out an empty chair and invite Jesus to join you. Open up your Bible and begin your morning devotion and then relax while you enjoy your coffee and fellowship together while allowing time to really listen as He communes with you. I love taking communion in my mornings with Him as well.
Just as it takes a little time to feel the effects from exercise, you may have to do this for a little while before you begin to feel His presence drawing close; but when it's done with an earnest heart, He will accept your invitation and your life will never be the same! Everything worth having is worth doing right!
So let's begin to show the Lord how important He is to us by allowing time out of each day He gives to communicate with Him, with loving admiration for all He has done in our lives. Make time to be blessed, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~~~

Making the Best of It All

What a glorious gift God has given! Cool and brisk outside but whether hot or cold, sunshine or rain, sleet or snow, each new day is a gift from God filled with His fresh mercies and tender grace.

Regardless of the outer elements that surround us, let's rise and shine forth His Love and Hope within! Let's be grateful that He showers us with His Amazing Grace and be happy with the life given as we rise above the storms, dance in the rain, and if we're gonna dance, then let's sing forth His praise:
"Oh how beautiful are you Lord, it's your Words, it's your Love; Oh how glorious are You Lord, It's Your power, It was Your cross, That saved me and rescued me, Just a moment there, set me free! I give You glory, glory! I give You glory, glory! I give You glory, glory, Jesus! I give You glory, glory! I give You glory, glory! I give You glory, glory, Jesus!
Now doesn't it do your heart good to feel His praises rising up within you whether you sang along or not! Well, you know I just had to sing this morning! I find it wonderful to open my eyes and breathe in the goodness of each new day given; to be able to get myself out of bed and to move about and have my being; even tho it's slow at first, the more I move, the easier it gets, just as every thing we do in life.
No matter if in our physical walk or our spiritual walk; the more we practice what is needed, the easier it gets; and the more rewarding it feels! So with each new move we make, it's good to feel the joy of the Lord springing up within the very depths of our soul as we feel the Love of Jesus, the Lord of lords, King of kings, God of all gods, the Great I Am, Prince of Peace, and Lover of my soul wrap His arms around us bringing comfort and peace as nothing this world has to offer! What joy to know that I am His, and He is mine forever and ever throughout eternity, Praise His Holy Name! Thank You Jesus!
So how about you? Come join in and not just rush through today, but enjoy all He has given; let's make every moment the very best it can be for His glory sake. We can make it a good day, or it can be a better day; or we can even aim at making it the very Best it can be.
Good, Better, Best; Never Let it rest; Until the good is better, and the better is Best! Let's make it Best as we enjoy His blessings along the way.
Let's sow His love into someone's life today by sowing seeds of kindness along our way; How about it? Let's choose to be happy, to enjoy all He has given and live our life to the fullest! Let's choose to be Free to dance in the rain; to sing His praises through it all and bring glory to the Kingdom of God while being all we can be for His Glory sake!
Enjoy a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, because God loves you and so do I~~~

Praise The Lord Through It All

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name; For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations." Psalm 100.

May we forever be grateful and bless His name for He who has done many great things, too marvelous for us to count. The greatest I believe is making all things possible for us to receive eternal life with Him through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. So I will praise the Lord at all times, His praise continually in my mouth. When my mind becomes weary and restless, I will choose to remind myself of His Promises and invite Holy Spirit to restore and refresh my mind as peace is found.

Psalm 34:19 declares, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers Him out of them all." Just because an affliction comes upon us, doesn't mean we have to stay under that affliction. We gain strength from his promise in Psalm 46:1 "God is my strength and my refuge, a very present help in time of trouble", along with many promises found in His Holy Word.

He has proven time and time again that He is forever faithful, loves us unconditionally and there is NOTHING we can ever do that will change that. His promises throughout the Word declares that He will never leave us or forsake us; so we know He is with us every step we take along life's journey. We need only to whisper His name and He's there; and as we reach out to Him, He reaches back with outstretched arms comforting and bringing peace as only He does best. So I pray amidst all the strife, the bitterness, and unrest in our world today, that you find His peace that surpasses all understanding in times like these, simply because God loves you and so do I~~~

Seasons Come and Seasons Go

What makes us look at only what our natural eyes can see instead of beholding life the way He wants us to see! Why do we look at tomorrow when we haven't even lived today yet? Why do we look at what tomorrow brings instead of what God has given us right now? Well I think it's because we are man and He is God?

Ecclesiastes 3 tells us,"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."
We are often too quick to just read the first couple verses and stop, but each verse connected to this segment holds wise advise and good learning for each season of our own personal life: times for birth--but also death, times for sadness--but also times to rejoice, times of war--but also times to make peace, times to be broken--but praise the Lord also times to restore what was broken; seasons for every thing God has created!
I love Springtime because it seems to hold new life springing forth; bringing a new hope that in due time, things that once caused us dismay shall pass away, and there will spring forth a brighter day. God promises in His Word that He will walk with us through EVERY season of our life: to lead and guide, to advise and instruct, to comfort and give peace, and to turn our sorrow into joy. Seasons may come and seasons may go, but God's plan for our lives will surely spring forth, because His Word remains the same forever, regardless of seasons.
I pray that you enjoy today and every season in your life and that you can learn to dance in the rain, rejoice in good times and bad, and choose to be happy and enjoy life; one day at a time, one season at a time! God loves you and so do I~~
