Calling for Laborers in God's Fields

Good morning, dear friends! Are you ready to make this day the best it can be? Ready to allow God to guide your endeavors today?
Solomon encourages us in Proverbs 3:5-6 to "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy path."  Instead of going haphazardly through our day; let's ask God's advice as noted in Psalms 37:23, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and He delighteth in his way." Let's allow Him to guide us in the midst of our encounters as His Spirit empowers us throughout our day.
Jesus said in Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind; to set at liberty them that are bruised." As Jesus ministered to the great multitudes of people and seeing their many needs, He mentioned to His followers in Matthew 9:37, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few."
From the very beginning of His ministry on earth to the very last conversation, He stressed the urgency to be about His Fathers' business. In Matthew 28:19-20 He told them, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you, And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the world."
Today the harvest remains plentiful with multitudes of people in urgent need for God to set them free from sin and oppression, from sickness and disease, from hurts and depression; but how can they hear without us being about our Father's business and reaching out to them in Love? Without us sharing the gospel of Hope in Christ Jesus with them while meeting their needs through the power of Holy Spirit. The healing power of Jesus Christ is the same today as it was when He walked the earth. His healing virtue still flows from the heavenly throne to all who will believe and receive! God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34) and whatever He did in the past for one person, He will do the same today; but without workers in the fields sharing His Word, How will they hear to believe and receive?
God is our Strength and the Source Who supplies All knowledge and power for us to act on His Word in Jesus' name. Jesus told His followers in Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth." The Spirit is calling all over the lands and as you and I continue to be His followers today, He is in need of us being about our Father's business in His fields ready for harvest.
The same Spirit that healed the sick, the blind, the lame, and even raised Jesus from the dead way back then; is the same Holy Spirit today calling us to help. He has not changed and He has certainly not lost His power!
Holy Spirit is the power that strengthens us, that empowers us, and enables us to go about healing the sick through Jesus' name today! Jesus invested His power to every believer to do the works He did and even greater if only we could believe! Think about His Power accompanying you! His Power working within you; invigorating your senses, sharpening your skills, instilling boldness to be all you can be for the glory of God and His kingdom sake in Jesus' name!
Dear friend, We've got the Power! The Power of Almighty God living within us just waiting for us to release our faith so He can "do ALL things through Christ that strengthens us" (Philippians 4:13). By His Power we are extensions of His Word as He works through us to accomplish God's great plan, not only in our lives, but in the whole world. Just think about it! We house an unbridled supply of God's Great Power deep down inside equipping us to be workers greatly needed in His fields today.
But we must be willing to answer His call? Will you step back from your way of thinking and allow His unbridled supply of power to meet needs in God's fields needing harvested today? You already house the power to do the work needed. You just have to be willing to step back from your way of thinking and allow His power to harvest the needs in His fields. God remains forever faithful as He searches the world for workers in His field. It's not by our will, nor by our power, but by His Spirit, says the Lord!
I pray that as you decide, you will choose to say "Yes" to His calling for laborers in His fields; and I pray you enjoy a wonderfully blessed day, because God loves you and so do I~
