MAKE THE CALL

Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know" (Jeremiah 33:3). I'm probably going to reveal my age today, but I care enough about all of you and your joy, that age doesn't matter; because I want each of you to enjoy life to the fullest as I have found possible during my search for true worship in Christ Jesus. An old song popped in my mind as I began typing and because it holds a message in itself, I want to share "The Royal Telephone" with you now:
"Central’s never busy, always on the line; You may hear from heaven almost any time; ’Tis a royal service, free for one and all; When you get in trouble, give this royal line a call. There will be no charges, telephone is free, It was built for service, just for you and me; There will be no waiting, on this royal line, Telephone to glory always answers just in time. Fail to get the answer, Satan’s crossed your wire, By some strong delusion, or some base desire; Take away obstructions, God is on the throne, And you’ll get your answer through this royal telephone. If your line is “grounded,” and connection true, Has been lost with Jesus, tell you what to do: Prayer and faith and promise, mend the broken wire, 'Til your soul is burning with the Pentecostal fire. Carnal combinations, cannot get control; Of this line to glory, anchored in the soul; Storm and trial cannot, disconnect the line, Held in constant keeping by the Father’s hand divine. Telephone to glory, oh, what joy divine, I can feel the current moving on the line, Built by God the Father, for His loved and own, We may talk to Jesus through this royal telephone."
This old old song has a message all its own. God is never too busy; but always waiting and eager to take our call; as reminded in Jeremiah 33:3. God is readily accessible 24/7 and watches over us to help in time of need. No matter how great the storm or how devastated we may feel, if we just reach out and call upon Him, God will answer every time. Praise God! He is never out of range, never too busy, and His phone is never turned off. That's right; He is Always available, Always accessible, and Always attentive to our every call....and that's His promise with a Written Lifetime Guarantee!!!  Too often we go to Him in prayer with needs or questions, and because our connection with Him was interrupted and we failed to hear His answer or sense His guidance; we set out to work things out on our own, and down the road we see nothing positive coming from the situation; so we may tend to blame God for not answering or for negative outcomes. When will we realize that God's timing is not our timing, and His ways are not our ways? Isaiah 55:8-9 tells us,"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," saith the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
God has great plans for our future as declared in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." When we don't wait on Him to answer our prayers or to listen to Holy Spirit trying to guide us; we are the ones who get impatient and cause negative things to occur in our lives. The bad that came from it all was not caused by God!  His ways are always good and He loves us so much; that even tho we make messes out of our lives from impatience or lack of His guidance; God can still take our lives and turn things around to our good and His glory. When we finally allow God to move in those circumstances and see how He delivered and answered; it's then that our messes become a message and our tests become a testimony, (Romans 8:28), "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
I pray that whatever you may be encountering in your life today, that you will take a few minutes and make that much needed call to Heaven without delay. Go ahead, call Him up, and talk as long as you need to; He's waiting eagerly and lovingly, for you to call. His phone has unlimited minutes of talk, just for you! Stop trying to make things better on your own and allow God to work on your behalf (I Peter 5:7) "Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you." Surrender your cares over to Him; Step back; Relax in Him; and Watch with expectation as He delivers you from your bondage and sets you free. What bountiful joy it is to know the freedom in Christ Jesus! Freedom to worship! Freedom to sing! Freedom to breathe with relief! Freedom to lift up Holy Hands and magnify His Holy name, JESUS!
As you release it all to Him; totally surrender it all into His hands; you will begin to feel a life changing peace flood over your soul with a loving warmth deep within!  Enjoy life in His fullness today and smile, dear friends. God loves you and so do I~~~
