Puzzle Pieces

I find myself thinking today about how our lives are much like a great big puzzle, in everything we do! Have you ever worked a puzzle, or two or three?.....or maybe you're a puzzle genius who loves to work countless puzzles?  As for me, I can no longer endure those big 1000 piece or more puzzles; give me the smaller puzzles, 50 to 250 pieces, and I can pretty well manage them. I do fine getting the corner and edge pieces in the right places; it's those crazy little quirky pieces in the middle that cause me lots of frustration, trying to fit one piece into another thinking it will work, only to find out later it has to be removed. That one piece just would not allow others to be connected, and no matter how much I tried, nothing else would fit into it. All the time and effort spent trying to keep that one piece in that particular spot caused the puzzle's completion to be delayed and the entire picture to be distorted; and not at all what the designer had in mind.
Our life is much like a giant puzzle, with people and circumstances being the puzzle pieces; and try as we will; we attempt to fit people or circumstances into our lives that really do not belong at all; just because they 'look like they should', so we waste time trying to fit them in, regardless. While in puzzles we can see the completed picture on the cover to guide us as to what the puzzle should look like when completed; Only God knows what He designed our completed lives to be. That is why it is so important to read His instructions frequently and to know His Word and Will for our lives; so every piece of our life, every joint, wisely chosen; fits together to give us strength, and allows us to draw strength one to another; to make us, the completed picture, into all HE predestined us to be.(Eph 4:16)
Life is precious and without a vision, we waste endless time trying to make things work together that should have been discarded long ago. Allowing God to direct our life day by day is the only sure way to get through life and make our puzzled life complete. He sees our endeavors and watches over us; bringing us His calm assurance that each piece of our life, when properly joined with others as He designed, will supply the strength needed; and even tho' some pieces may need to be removed, so others can fit rightly into God's divine master plan for our life, the end will be greater than the beginning!
So allow Holy Spirit to guide you, bringing you into that great puzzle completion of life that only He does best. He is the greatest puzzle problem solver you will ever find; and He never loses patience, and never loses sight of His completed result. We will make it, dear friend!  Because the best is yet to come! Jesus has us all in the palm of His hands and we all fit perfectly together.  Have a blessed day, dear friends, God loves you and so do I~~~
