Casting All Your Cares On Him

"Are you weary, are you heavy hearted? Tell it to Jesus, Tell it to Jesus. Are you grieving over joys departed? Tell it to Jesus alone. Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus, He is a Friend that’s well known. You’ve no other such a friend or brother, Tell it to Jesus alone. Do the tears flow down your cheeks unbidden? Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus. Have you sins that to men’s eyes are hidden? Tell it to Jesus alone. Do you fear the gathering clouds of sorrow? Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus. Are you anxious what shall be tomorrow? Tell it to Jesus alone. Are you troubled at the thought of dying? Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus. For Christ’s coming kingdom are you sighing? Tell it to Jesus alone. Tell it to Jesus, tell it to Jesus; He is a Friend that's well known. You've no other such a friend or brother, Tell it to Jesus alone."
What a wonderful message is hidden within this old hymn. We are shown all through the Word how God never intended for us to be weighed down with cares and burdens of life. Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:25-30, " Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." and again in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you."
Jesus took upon himself all our sorrows so we could be have a life free to rest; free from worry and oppression; and free from all the binds that attempt to weigh us down and keep us from being ALL God intended us to be. We truly have no greater friend or brother. No matter what the problem or cares of life, we should be telling it to the only One who can take care of it all- JESUS! He is truly our Friend and Brother!
I pray you will take all your cares to Jesus today, and leave them there! Don't waste another second of your day, worrying over cares of this life when Jesus is waiting with open arms to receive your cares and give you joy and peace in exchange. So go ahead, Tell Jesus about all those burdens and cares of life; then leave them at His feet as you pick up your robe of freedom in Christ Jesus! He wants you to have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friend, because God loves you and so do I~~~
