The Finished Work For You And Me

"IT IS FINISHED!" Jesus cried from the cross! and having completed everything required for man's salvation plan; He committed His Spirit into the Father's hands, hung His head, and died. As His life left the earth, darkness fell upon the earth, the ground was shakened causing a great earthquake, and fear fell upon those nearby. His body was taken down and placed in a tomb which was then sealed by Roman Soldiers to assure no escape. But while sadness was upon His mother, Mary, and upon all his followers, there was a great celebration going on in Heaven. Jesus had accomplished His Father's will and the separation between sinful man and God was torn down: Eradicated by the blood of the Lamb! When Jesus died, the veil in the Holy of Holies was torn in half, from top to bottom; an act that could have only come from heaven above, since the top was too high for man to reach(noted to be almost 60 ft in height). No longer would sin have to separate man from God!
No longer would man be required to offer up blood offerings yearly by a High Priest of the temples for their sins: "For Christ did not enter into a holy place made with human hands, which was only a copy of the true one in heaven. He entered into heaven itself to appear now before God on our behalf. And He did not enter heaven to offer himself again and again, like the high priest here on earth who enters the Most Holy Place year after year with the blood of an animal. If that had been necessary, Christ would have had to die again and again, ever since the world began. But now, once for all time, He has appeared at the end of the age to remove sin by His own death as a sacrifice."(Heb 9:23-26). Jesus was now the High Priest for all mankind, once and for all time sake. His ultimate sacrifice broke down the barrier between sinful man and God. Man could now come before God, just as he is through Jesus' name, and as he confessed and asked forgiveness of his sins, it is with full assurance that through Jesus, his sins are forgiven (I John 1:9), "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Jesus became the bridge between God and all mankind, for all who would believe and receive Him as their Lord and Savior.  No longer would man be separated from God by the great gulf of sin. No longer would man need to confess his sins and offer the required animals to be sacrificed by a high priest year and year because Jesus had now paid the sacrifice needed with His very own blood that would deliver mankind, once and for all, from all our sins!  Every sin now covered by the precious redeeming blood that flowed from His sacrificed body on that old rugged cross. The ultimate sacrifice that made it possible for you and me to enjoy a personal relationship, one on one with our Heavenly Father, through His Son and Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!! His death on the cross was not the end, but the beginning, for all who will believe and receive the works Jesus fulfilled for their salvation. What joy to know that when this earthly life is over, it's not finished but just beginning, as we enter that heavenly rest with our Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus who reigns alive and well forevermore! Death could not hold Him, the tomb could not contain Him, as the work during those 3 days was now accomplished the Spirit of God resurrected Jesus' body from the tomb and He lives forevermore, walking and talking with all mankind who will seek to hear His voice!
And now the season is at hand that we celebrate His resurrection, knowing of a surety that because He lives, we can face tomorrow! Because He lives, all our fear is gone! Because we know He holds our future, And life is worth the living just because He lives! Praise the Lord forevermore! NO more darkness, NO more sin, NO more bondage; but we are free from sin to live that abundant life in Christ Jesus through His works forevermore!  A new day has arisen! A new day bringing hope and freedom from ALL our sins! A New Hope founded in Christ Jesus: Lord of lords, King of all kings! A brand New Hope assuring that we no longer have to bear burdens, oppression, grief, or pain; deliverance is ours through the stripes He bore on His back! No more do we have to carry a sinful nature because of His ultimate sacrifice that sets man free! And because He conquered, we are made more than conquerors in Christ Jesus who lives within our hearts! Forever and ever all who believe and receive Him as their Lord can rest in Christ Jesus, and in Him alone. By No other name can man be saved but the name of Jesus! What a price He paid, willingly, for you and me!
I pray that you will make Jesus Lord over your life so you can live with Him forevermore!
Have a wonderfully blessed day, dear friends, Jesus loves you and so do I~~~
